Longer wait times for your items to move counts as a negative. Just sayin' Sucks for anyone who made recent purchases on Arcane flowerpots lol. SE forgot to include Tokopekko wildgrass.

Its not like you got gil for doing nothing. Still takes time to turn Cruor into the Blinkers, NPC them, etc. Bot =/= exploit. An exploit to me is manipulating the game to do something it isn't meant to do. By that logic, people were exploiting Ninja when it first came out by using it as a tank. If you're part of the economy, you're subject to any changes to it, both negative and positive. The immediate outlook of the blinker nerf is pretty negative. Saying that you're going to hold on to your gil for now implies some sort of change in your normal activities.

SE gave players the ability to avoid hits, you had the option to do damage or evade. SE however did not intend for players to enter the start of the zone and sit there for 5-10 hours trading blinkers. Ragnarok.Slyshen said: » Yeah I don't think so... I don't do dynamis, rarely do VW, I craft, that is my hobby. Unless you can give me some thorough evidence on how it's going to affect me directly, stfu. 2M scarlet ingots and the fact you gave up on getting 110 smithing, that's how it has effected you. The outlook of the blinker nerf is that people can't bot their gil anymore and their mad about it. Nuff said.

9 pages about a dying game very interesting...

Ragnarok.Corres said: » Did SE ever give away what they intended Ninja to be anyways? The playerbase chose to use Ninja in that way and SE rolled with it (sort of). On top of that i don't think you can really compare various methods for your gil-income, specifically this one, to a job that had no clear purpose as a tanking class anyways but people ran with it. I could be wrong though... edit: it's late 'o' clock so please forgive me if my post is not understandable. Ninja was initially envisioned as a puller / light skirmisher job that functioned very similar to the AI of ninja monsters. You'd pull using utsusemi as a complement to your evasion and your debuffs to bring the monster in feeb'd. Throwing for some ranged damage coupled with your katana damage and magic where physical prowess fails and you have a balanced job capable of doing many things. Then the job launched. I swear I'm not arguing to argue but hey.. there are plenty of us out here that used cruor as a way to stay away from dyna when we wanted money. :x I was only lazy enough to not level a craft or dyna, not to use a bot for cruor. ;-; lol Asura.Bartimaeus said: » there are plenty of us out here that used cruor as a way to stay away from dyna when we wanted money. :x 100% this Lakshmi.Zaps said: » Ragnarok.Slyshen said: » The outlook of the blinker nerf is that people can't bot their gil anymore and their mad about it. Nuff said. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, Haks say hi. Not everyone can just readily fish up Haks like they were able to turn on a bot on a Lv.30+ job to conver cruor. I still think Hakuryu should be nerfed though, it doesn't even make sense why they put it in beau when the other 3 went into time restricted zones.
Can we at least get chocobo blinkers on the most viewed item list? Kind of a 'pour some on the block for my homies' moment?

Atleast haks are limited by how much bait npcs can sell :P It's actually at the point where it's close to stop itself on cerb lol Siren.Kalilla said: » I still think Hakuryu should be nerfed though, it doesn't even make sense why they put it in beau when the other 3 went into time restricted zones. Ok, so SE gave the players the ability to buy chocobo blinkers with cruor, you had the option to sell them for gil, or to finish the quest them. If they didn't want people to sell them for gil, they could have just made them not NPC when they made them. Ragnarok.Slyshen said: » I gave up on smithing? Ha I took a break to save money cause you were monoplizing ***ike a dumb *** and paying 2M for each ingot is ludicrous. There's quitting, and then there's being smart and not paying stupid *** prices cause someone got butthurt I was buying their ingredients. Rememeber that Ejiin? I guess you're still too ignorant to understand why some people are willing to spend 2m/ingot to get 110, leaving you in the dust and failing to understand how blinker gil has played a role in it. ![]() Hakuryu isn't amused. I just think it's wrong when people are obviously botting sitting in front of the NPC all day long. |
