I guarantee you 99.9% of the logs we get in voidwatch are just getting sold to the nearest NPC and not being used what they are meant for in crafting. There is very little incentive to make midlevel gear since most everyone is either Abyssea leeching or Level Sync GOV'ing for experience. There are very few pieces of gear that arent rare/ex that are considered top notch for endgame use either.

If I had way more space to store all these ores and logs I'd be happy to take up smithing or my woodworking more often, but as it is it gets in the way of me doing other things in-game so obviously I'm just going to NPC it instead.
I really don't see it 'really' affecting dynamis all that much. I mean, I'm sure a large percentage of people who blinkered their cruor also did dynamis already for more gil. It's not going to make me do dynamis any more than I already did.

Its just a game, play it if want or quit, its your call. Does your character live off the land on some self-sustaining compound atop an isolated cliff in Qufim? Do you grow your own dragons for meat? You continue to work on your crafts that you've been levelling for more than half a decade. I craft all day and all night. Making money off lazy people. I can craft all my own ***, I have multiple crafting characters. Plus I own the Cursed Hauberk -1 market on Ragnarok. Not hard when you're determined. And the people buying from you? Where was their gil coming from? Leviathan.Kincard said: » Almost everything in this game comes back to inventory limitations. All I know is I converted 3m in crour on 2 characters 3-days ago, I'm kind of feeling a bit "whew" over it all. Kinda feel like I stole something now. :3

i also have 110 cooking doesnt help much

Game is no diffferent for me than it was 10 years ago, if anything it's dumb-down for a 10 year old and gil is wayyyyy easier to get your hands on now. About it, same game, stupider people. Do yourself a favor. Stop, think and then post. It's just making you look bad. Don't even start to claim that changes in the economy won't affect you. Yeah I don't think so... I don't do dynamis, rarely do VW, I craft, that is my hobby. Unless you can give me some thorough evidence on how it's going to affect me directly, stfu. It will certainly be interesting to see how many stick with eating red currybuns and buying the best ammo for cor and rng until the prices resettle after this change. It was pretty easy to not care about food/ammo costs if you could just blinker to cover the costs occasionally.

There are very few pieces of gear that arent rare/ex that are considered top notch for endgame use either. Play as a monster! Your level 40 Bard Fafnir needs CHR rings to properly debuff the enemy when it uses Horrid Roar. Quote: how is blinkers an exploit since every mob since scars came out has been able to use blinkers for crour seems to me that se wanted everyone to be able to get better gear and relics The problem is here is that we're all discussing blinkers under the assumption that SE found it as easy as the playerbase did to buy a massive amount of blinkers at once, when in fact it required you to flip through their awful UI and it would end up eating hours of your time in order to buy a bunch of blinkers and then sell them. Basically, blinkers were designed with the assumption that bots and programs wouldn't be used to enhance the efficiency of it. Seriously, try manually buying blinkers sometime. I assure you you will get tired of it after the first 4 or 5 trades. An exploit to me is manipulating the game to do something it isn't meant to do. Asura.Bartimaeus said: » But like, you craft and make gil for a reason. Does it not affect you if you have to buy like.. anything? >_> If prices rise on something you want you have to spend more time making all that easy money. I dunno. Edit: Things affect you. Now whether it's positive or negative is completely different. IMHO I craft to craft, and I save my profits. Agreed, but I think I am going to benefit from this update more than anything. Say what you will but that's MY opinion! :) Kimble2013 said: » Ragnarok.Corres said: » Kimble2013 said: » Siren.Kalilla said: » bigdave1978 said: » well se just pissed me off enough to quit i been playing since 03 and now no longer have a reason to bother with this game I hardly call it an exploit.
