I think it will be about the average of people who are doing it now and people who did it before the update in about a month or so. I doubt it dies down as much as it did before. Pre-update all u got from campaigning was exp and AN which wasnt much incentive for a lot of ppl. But now u have players who can come, make 50k+, get some decent items, AND still get exp and AN? I see this becoming the next big issue, right up there with "THAT *** LS STOLE OUR DYNAMIS". Until there is some kind of reason to make players WANT to play as a team ,helping,raising,curing and such, this will remain broken imo.

i think the new gear also plays a large factor, peope will want the gear sets and now with things like rose strap, the mag acc or enf+2, racc, is all pretty hot. the -10% physical dmg tuns me on too, i have a pretty strong -physical build and its gonna take me forreeevvverr to get all the gear i want from cb

to many people in CB I took thf to 75 in CB now I'm only getting like 1k exp as sam/dnc........

This is my hope, although I admit I'm probably being too optimistic. All I know is that my medal expires in a week, and there's no way in hell I'm going out to Campaign if this thread is an accurate representation of what's been happening. I'll gladly eat the rank-down if it preserves my sanity. The only piece of new Campaign gear I care about is the AGI neckpiece, and with how often I'm allowed to gear up THF, I think it can wait. lol

Dude last night in Vunkerl there must have been over 100 people, it was worse then besieged with the lag, mobs were like EXPLODING as soon as we saw them with all the people on them... I got 70 exp, which I'm betting is around what everyone else got, too ; ;

Yeah campaign battle is wayy too crowded now. Either increase the amount of mobs or make them stronger defensively and health wise.

I'm thinking we'll see longer or more frequent battles to raise the exp. Looks to be the easiest way for SE to fix it.

Yeah, but it still wont solve the problem of 6-8 jagoffs holding mobs 20 miles away... ESPECIALLY now that 100's are dropping? Christ, I wonder if mobs will even make it near the tower at all, now...

You're always going to have those people. Really it's not that wrong to do since it is overall helping the battle. I do understand how it can be unfair, but the main goal to campaign is to win/claim the zone for your country. I just don't like it when people do that and hold up the battle when I could move to a new battle. Can't tell if the battle is really over or a new wave of mobs is otw to fight some more.

Yeah Phat I like campaign too, but not when its over in 3 minutes and you walk away with 500 exp.

I don't even care for this Union system. I do campaign battle for exp/merits while seeking or if I'm not in the mood for partying. Now these money-hungry people come rushing in and start ruining that for us. ; ;

lol. i don't mind 3 minutes for 500 exp. then i can just move on to another. but hey, i campaign from my laptop while at work so the 3 minute fights are ok with me ^.~

Okay, really, I'm going to ask again, just what WERE you people that are suddenly all wrapped up in the Union battles doing before this latest update? I mean, did you like, drop your linkshell so that you don't have to do events anymore? Did you leave all of your farming locations behind to do this? I find it hard to fathom that you were just sitting in WG night after night waiting for the new expansion so you could start "playing" again. I mean, seriously, wth were you doing before?

I only do two endgame events and both are on the weekend. Due to my work schedule and the fact that I have a wife, all weekdays I do campaign. So I'm doing what I always do. Now a bunch of people are intruding on my regularly scheduled program. GTFO

Just go do Xarcarbard campaign. The main mobs there are Dahaks, so no-one tries to solo them, and there's not really anywhere to drag them off to without agro-ing half the zone. Everyones been pretty damn good with raises and cures for me so far too.

Yup, campaign was my main source of merit/xp. Like others I would average 2000-3000 a battle but now I'm lucky if I see 500+.
The only ancient currency I've seen drop so far was a Ordelle Bronzepiece and Tukuku Whiteshell. Might I add I got beat by 1 point for the Bronzepiece. 957, {Player} lot 958.
However, I have to say I am quite pleased w/ the new campaign items.
So far I'm liking this... it gives CB a purpose again :D
