Smash Bros... Wii fit trainer.. villager... seriously? at least people like mega man
Halo died with Halo 2 anyway.
Well, okay, Reach was really good too, but I think I can use the Prequel defense here to keep my stance relevant. Ragnarok.Ravant said: » Smash Bros... I'm pretty should that woulda sold about 6 million wiiu's right there Ragnarok.Zohnax said: » Er... Wii Fit Girl for Smash Bros. U... YouTube Video Placeholder My jaw dropped in shock. I didn't think this would be one of the new characters! Really strange the fit trainer is in the Smash Bros series now lol
Still holding out hope that Namco-Bandai will come out and announce an Ace Combat that isn't ***/Mobile.
I wonder if they still have the license to use Snake and Sonic for Smash Bros. I suppose we would have seen them already if so, but it'd be awesome if they could make a return appearance.
Sou desu neeeeeeeeeeeee is all Nomura says lol
yeah its not really watchable, I will read a synopsis later.
The "Lead Judge" has a Gunblade as another subtle-but-obvious callback as well.
Holy *** ***the gameplay for 15 looks soooooooooooo good. They just showed it on the SE stream
"action" rpg confirmed for 15, there go my hopes.
I prefer action RPGs these days. Turn based on a next gen console feels weird. I don't have any problem playing the older FFs though but with new graphics it just feels odd
that's fair.
13 fans should be jazzed. I just said my hopes. not everyone's :P I think 12 had a good balance of turn based and action rpg style with the auto attacks but you can also choose another attack anytime you want

Apparently new SE CEO Matsuda apologized in public for all of SE latest ***, stating the FF brand will go back to its original glory.

I meant I am not seeing his prediction becoming reality. I'm sure he said it, they have been saying it for years.
I'm going to approach the new combat system for future Final Fantasy titles with caucious optimism. I will admit that turn based combat and instanced battles on a separate plane is inevitably falling behind and out of favor with the advancement of technology and thus more sophisticated and dynamic.
Though prefered by my tastes, I'll acknowldge turn based combat as more of a comfort and throwback device for playing it safe, and I sincerly look forward to gameplay that can experiment with stong and favorable elements of various genres to create a fine tuned and enjoyable experience for the majority of users and target audiences. XII's combat was perfect... Why does it need to change. ATB Lasted what? 11 years? I think 11 years of Real Time Ability delay combat would work just fine.
Look at what happened with Dragon Age went from that style to Button-mash ***. The Japanese still pump out a shitload of turn based games for the DS at least
XII was the gameplay apogée for sure, I'd be happy if they went back to this style of gameplay/strategy. Now, what would really revive FF would be a story. They went from mesmerizing stories to "what kind of drug did they take to come up with THAT?"
