E3 2013

Anyone have any thoughts/speculation? Lightning Returns FFXIII should be given a release date and i think this is the year Kingdom Hearts 3 shows its head, if not we'll get that KH1.5 release date maby KH2.4 trailer. Hoping to see MGS5 Phantom Pain news to.

That tech demo SE showed during the PS4 announcement makes me think they will be announcing FFXV... to be released 3 or 4 years from now.

What I am hoping is that The Last Guardian will be announced as a PS4 launch title, not that there is much of a chance of that.

Only thing I am specifically looking forward to hearing about is Dragon Age III: Inquisition. I still believe there's hope for that series!

Other than that... A surprise announcement about Fallout 4 would be awesome, but I'm not expecting to hear anything about that until Late 2013-Early2014 (And probably see it released Late 2014).


Seeing actual stuff about Playstation 4 would be nice, I went back and watched the PS4 reveal, and to be honest, it wasn't any better than the XboxOne, sure it was more Game-centric, but it still showed ***-all interesting.


Lemme think.

TES: Online will be at the show, I don't intend to turn that game into a new obsession, I just wanna *** around the world for a month or two, see the sights and junk.

A new Ace Combat game that doesn't try to go COD:Airplanes all of a sudden, Back to Strangereal ploxthx.

SE said they have a "Special Final Fantasy Announcement" at this years E3. So I guess we'll have to see. though this year is a pretty big year for FF in general

1) FFX (X-2) HD

2) FF14 2.0 Re Release this summer (A Realm Reborn)

3) FF13-3 Lightning is Forever

4) ??? mystery FF title.


Hoping that it's Versus 13, and hoping this comment doesn't start a sludgeball of people screaming that versus is dead (cause the last report that i had read in feb-march, was that the KH dev team was on full production for versus. and that the reason that we haven't seen KH3 yet was because of versus.)

So I'm really crossing my fingers that They officially announce versus, maybe with a rebranding/namechange and inb4 PS4 exclusive.

I'm sure if i dig enough i could find sources for my info, I'll provide it if asked, but otherwise thats alot of work :< lol.

I wish SE would make Online Downloadable ports for Some of their better PSP/Vita games, and let you play them on the ps3/ps4 instead.

Microsoft's conference will be a let down as always. Hopefully Sony will show some more launch window games for PS4.

Can't really think of much I want to see in E3 this year, maybe a sequel to dragons dogma or something. GTA5 and new saints row looks kinda cool...

Apparently, we'll be seeing the next installment of the 3D Marios as well as the Wii U's Mario Kart, both I wish to see very much as our poor old Wii U is collecting dust at the moment. Zelda has confirmed Link to the Past sequel for 3DS, Wind Waker HD port for the U, as well as a new Wii U title in the works, all of which I'm looking forward to witnessing any footage of at all. Hopefully, Kirby will get some love, as well, as HAL's been pretty quiet since Return to Dream Land in late 2011, and Kirby's Dream Collection hardly counts as a new title in that series. Finally, Nintendo giving Metroid another chance would make my summer, especially with a new 2D entry in the series or even a Zero Mission caliber remake of Metroid 2. Fingers crossed!

Another FF game would be cool and all, BUT someone just please give me another Legend of Dragoon game. It's 13 long *** years.

Originally, the fabula nova crystallis was a trilogy based around 13, agito (type-0 now I think) and Versus.

FFXIII-2 was so bs, I can only imagine the third to have an even more bs story.

Time-travel kinda worked in 11, so clearly they had to use that as often as possible in future games!

Nintendo will be at E3, but they aren't holding conferences. Instead, they will be hosting Nintendo Directs online while they unveil a good handful of titles including core console ones. Neat thing is that at select Best Buys during E3 week, you'll be able to demo the games.

You're exaggerating, it's only 2/5 of them, drama much!

It's mostly just cause Bethesda tends to be the only developer that really makes the most of hardware in ways that aren't just stupid set piece and script exploitation. They show something awesome, and that's the game, that's not just that one spot during that one mission.

GTAV would have been a good Generation launch title, but they pissed that opportunity away already. Good as I think it's going to be, it'll be cross-gen at best, and thus limited in the same way FFXI is limited today.

And the PS4/XboxOne need something like that if they're going to sell. People aren't really impressed by "Da grafix" anymore. If they were, Crytek wouldn't be seen as a mediocre developer full of hot air.

Bethesda is great and all, but they're game always seem to get kinda bugy to me, but I guess that's all forgivable since their games are always so ridiculously huge.

Personally Capcom is my fav video game company, from the nes games I played as a kid, to even todays games, 90% of the time capcom focuses on 1 thing, making sure their game is fun and over the top.

I personally prefer dragons dogma over Skyrim, because even though the storyline, voice acting, extracurricular activities, size of the map, and amount of quests. in Skyrim are way way greater/better, dragons dogma to me is more fun to play gameplay wise.

I also love the fact that Capcom can now potentially give Bethesda's elder scrolls games a run for their money with w/e their Dragons dogma games do in the future.

Dragons dogma was a western style rpg from a Japanese point of view, I would love to see a Japanese style rpg from Bethesda's point of view 1 day. >_>

Dragon's Dogma has the most amazing boss fights I've seen in a Western-Style RPG. But that's really all that's good about it. Having said that though! It's enough to really enjoy the game, it's like you push yourself to see the next awesome boss. It reminds me a lot of Shadow of the Colossus, though not nearly that good. (IMO)

I'm ballwashing Bethesda on a tech standpoint though. It's real easy to poke holes in their creative design and QA shortcomings, but when we get shown ***like CoD:WOOF and Quantum Break... I just think we really need a "Game" game that uses the new tech in more ways than "OMG TEH SHINEIZ SHINY LOL SPARKLES".

It's just that they're the Studio who's games I'm sure most people have played that fit the example I'm trying to make.

I could try to be Hipster/Pretentious *** and cite examples nobody would have heard of, and thus not leave the conversation open to any meaningful input/opinions.
