Glad they had all the time in the world to make sure that people wouldn't be cheated by bynes. Maybe they should have spent that time figuring out how to make this update seem worthwhile instead of delaying everything ><.

Or they could have not done anything at all. I'm sure that SE, it's employees, subsidiaries, friends, family and neighbors are all deeply concerned that they didn't fulfill your personal entertainment requirements with this upcoming update.

Oh no 20 minutes worth of work.

If the devs had an extra 20 minutes to work with, neo-salvage would have totally been in this update. This is FACT.

Don't kid yourself. They aren't going to reskin mobs. Also, The new Salvage gear will look identical to the old gear.

Except that although they are analogous in terms of the operator's experience, they aren't in terms of the results to the people around the operator. The first one may hurt others. Doing this to yourself only hurts you, and in fact helps someone else. Perhaps it even helps you in the sense that you take an important lesson from it that you can apply in more areas than just a video game. But as to what you were saying in the first case, you are protecting the innocent from the stupid, where in this case you are protecting the stupid from themselves.

Are you better off learning from your mistakes or having someone protect you from them? Maybe a bit of both is right, but whichever you tend to lean toward probably is going to indicate where you stand on this update.

I don't judge this either as bad or good, I'm just pointing it out. Either you are the kind of person who thinks that people should fend for themselves and may the best man win (ideally while insuring a level playing field), or you are the type who thinks people should be protected from their own mistakes (insuring a harm free playing field).

Bottom line: Some see the update as compassion, some see it as coddling.

Are we really supposed to extract life lessons from a minor change announcement in a video game? Like... really?

The only way you could possibly have a problem with this update is if you were using cheating bazaar shufflers out of gil by overpricing singles as a source of income, in which case, you're a *** piece of ***and your opinion doesn't really matter anyway.

Or you just don't like the borders on currency, but you can change them back if you play on PC.

I'd say in general, this is very good so everyone can tell it from apart. So now it lessens the amount of people who accidently buys from someone who's trying to fool them.
