Colored boxes are getting annoying for me now. I never had a problem buying the wrong currency because I bother to spend an entire second to read what I'm buying for that price.
I'm just waiting for them to remove the rare/ex tag from seals/+2 items and completely shave off the last three stages needed to make a relic weapon.
I don't need excuses to justify my ***-ups.

Bah, I don't know. If a person was distracted enough to not notice the difference in colour between the 1 and 100 bills, the white box will hardly wake them up.
A lot of times when I am buying a lot of currency I skim the bazaar. I look at the icon, then the price. Byne icon + 780k = 100 byne. Now, 99.9% of the time I look at the name to confirm and I haven't screwed up yet but mistakes happen. The different icon will definitely be helpful.

You're not going to play gotcha with me. This is not the case where you're buying a car and the engine is defective or a house where there are termites. Everything that is pertinent regarding the purchase and sale that would form the basis for saying there was a meeting of the minds and thus a legal contract is right in front of you when it comes to the bazaar. The item may not be a 100 but the seller makes no representation that it is. They overpriced a currency in the opinion of others but it's still their right to try and make a sale of that item at that price. If the buyer can't read, is foolish, or greedily thinks they're getting a steal of a deal it's their fault.

lol It's hilarious the people who seem to be against or upset by this. There should have been no way to confuse them in the first place. The icon should be obviously different at a glance. There's no reason they ever should have used the same icon in the first place. I swear some of you guys are bigger hardasses than the devs.

No, I side with the scammers because I find it funny that people make such HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE mistakes. Whenever I make a mistake like that I know I deserved it for being a dumbass. Would you buy a Rolex (assuming you ever had the money for one) without looking if it was spelled "Rollex" because you were in a rush or drunk? Didn't think so.
Mistakes are necessary to learn how NOT to be an idiot. That's an important lesson this generation seems to have missed.

Back in my day, we didn't have these fancy colored boxes you pansy-*** kids have now. We took our obscenely overpriced singles like a MAN. We also tied onions to our belts, which was the style at the time...
Yeah I did the same thing one night after a 4 character 8hr dynamis marathon..I'm glad they are finally acknowledging that it's an issue.
I'm a lil peeved at myself for not paying attention because it cost me another month in farming currency for my Apoc but I got it anyway and the guy who did it still has nothing to show for it.

Darkmacabre do you even have a relic? It's kinda hard to make a mistake if you haven't had the opportunity to screw up.
No, but I'm on working on the last stage of one. And I also don't buy currency for my relic. I farm the coins myself and exchange them for a diff. currency if need be. Thanks for being so interested in my FF life. :)

Should people pay attention to what they are buying @ what price in peoples bazzars? Of course. Should people intentionally jack the price up x100? No. These people are scum and on the level of gil sellers in my personal opinion.
They are intentionally ripping off or trying to rip off harder working players. The people who are siding with them are just as bad as them and are more then likely doing it themselves.
Very happy SE is doing this, I personally haven't had this happen to me or anyone I know but it's a shame. And I hope players still doing this get banned.

I'm not sure why people care so damn much. I've never been scammed, but I'm not going to come here with a holier-than-thou attitude either. I'm to see this not because it helps people not get scammed; I'm more interested in seeing the scammers get screwed over.

Simply pathetic.
I'm more along the mindset of what could they be doing besides putting pretty boxes around currency that serves nothing but to protect people from making mistakes, instead of putting that work/man-hours to making more content or something to that effect.
