| Ancient Currency Icon Update Hello! We received some feedback that ancient currency icons looked quite similar to each other, and some mistakes were made when purchasing. Therefore, in the next version update, we will be introducing updated icons for each piece. Here is an example from Bastok: We feel this should help with quickly distinguishing currency's value. Guess it's good for the people inattentive enough to buy them by mistake. God knows that the *** zaaring them don't deserve the gil.

People will still confuse 1 and 100 bills if they did before.

Making an idiotic mistake doesn't mean they are idiots for doing it, unless they repeatedly make that mistake over and over again. If the icon border can help save some people a headache then it will serve its purpose.

The fun part will be that people will still run "those bazaars," despite looking more like *** than ever.

If you buy the wrong item for more than its worth by not paying the attention that's needed I'd say that makes you a strong idiot for not paying attention. People are still going to bazaar singles for 700k, hundreds for 7mil. There is a sucker born every minute.

I dropped 8 mil on singles thinking I was buying 100s. (one too many Crown and Cokes ><)

Never been in the market for currency, but I'm glad they're doing this. They might want to look into any other items that are commonly confused while they're at it.
Why don't they make some updates that might help this game other than this crap. This error can be fixed by reading.

While some people are genuinely stupid, (I know someone who's made in the range of 50m from the same guy from this ***), this should help out the people who are just rushing or not in their... best state of mind at the time of purchase.

Not a big fan of the white box blue box thing, but it's a welcomed change.
Bah, I don't know. If a person was distracted enough to not notice the difference in colour between the 1 and 100 bills, the white box will hardly wake them up.

The color differences between the bills is a lot more subtle than the color of the boxes. If someone was paying enough attention to the color of the bill, they would have probably noticed the name wasn't correct too.
yeah. Blue and Green or Blue and Gold or something would be more representative tbh. White still blends with the bill's color, and tbh, how many people *** up on bronzepieces and whiteshells compared to bills
this is a good fix... sure less people need to be a**holes and swap up currency in an effort to scam someone out of their hard earned gil... but we all know thats not gonna happen.
Giving 100s the blue border and giving the 10k a yellow border seems like a better idea if what they're going for is visual contrast.

This is a good change. It's sad that it's necessary, but I applaud S-E for it. People who do the mis-priced currency scam should be slapped.

Not even sure why this is needed... This game is predicated upon reading comprehension... if you can't see the item says 1 and not 100 for bynes, whiteshell vs. jadeshells, bronze vs. silver... then I don't even know what to say.
As is the game even gives you a chance to reconsider as you don't instantly buy when you select an item in bazaar. You still have to hit buy and the default position is on cancel.
The people buying singles off bazaar are just foolish for rushing, and while I don't entirely excuse the seller for selling an item at an inflated price the onus is always on the buyer... Caveat Emptor yo!

The fact that its common practice to bazaar singles for 100 prices confirms there was a problem. Whether it was from people being idiots or not.
