First To 99

What job are you going to level to 99 first, and why!

Jobs I'm pretty sure to level 75~99
1: White Mage
2: Dragoon
3: Monk
4: Black Mage

Jobs i have at 75 that I might not level to 99
Blue Mage
Corsair
Summoner
Samurai
Paladin* (68 now and climbing I'll be 75 by first level cap increase)

I plan to level my White Mage first. I love what I can do at 75 and of the 4 jobs I know I'm going to level it will be the most useful to be raised.

For all the DD jobs I've leveled Dragoon has found a place in my heart. I just have a blast when i get to play.

Monk & Black Mage both have a ton of merits dumped into them. Monk for Salvage & Blm from way back when I actually did real events.

Blue Mage might have been my first to 75, but it's really lost a lot of shine.
I HATE getting stuck on Cor because i have it, maybe if its 75 i won't be asked to bring it around all the time.
Summoner is a drag to level. Fun to use, but really a drag to level. Maybe if i get invited to a lot of astral burns it'll go up /shrug.
Samurai feels like half of my Dragoon I just don't have the affinity for it anymore.
I don't plan to be an "end game" tank on Pld I've been leveling it for fun and to add to what I can do. And hitting 75 before level cap increase comes out i think will be enough for me.


Anyway enough about me... what do you plan to level and why!

If I do level anything to 99 it will be BRD because it would be easiest

PLD because its my favorite job.
Will have to decide between RDM and DRG, but ill prolly lvl DRG just because I like playing it more then RDM.
Started lvling BLU recently and I really like the job, I'm guessing I'll probably eventually take it to 99 as well.

BLU all the way. Then probably PLD followed by either SAM or DRG.

If any then

NIN, RDM & BRD

WHM (75) and PLD (59)

Edit: Why is because they're my two primary jobs now. No point in changing what I enjoy at this point.

DRK, BLU, SCH

Those are the only 3 jobs I'm considering atm. They're also my only jobs above 60 lol.

If, and thats a big if, I level to 99 it'll be BLM. Its my favourite job, always has been always will be.

PLD.

DNC will be soloed and I love MNK but it depends how often I get invites.

BLU, probably BLM after that. If I ever finish buying all my goddamn attachments PUP will follow... contemplating a few other jobs but I'm really not sure I'd be able to give them the attention they deserve.

SAM (After I finish my WAR sub to 50 >.>)

RDM

BLM and RDM will be a coin toss to see which will go up first.

Reasons: I just love SAM =3, but need to finish off DNC and WAR subs for soloing/pt reasons before it will be up there. (I just have lvling dnc and WAR for some reason x.x)
RDM and BLM, well BLM will be getting new spells *Praises which ever God gave SE that notion* and it was my first 75, RDM will be my solobitch in another 6.5 lvls. So dunno if I'll wind up taking RDM or BLM to 99 first, all depends on if BLM will be stuck burning and can't get into the really fast paced parties.

First job to be 99 will be my Thief. Just love the job, loving the idea of more DD options for it.

Other jobs to be 99 will probably be Rdm, Sam and Nin. All to give me more range to do stuff which my Thf would be no good on.

In order....

DNC: Favoritest job ever. Unless it's horrible upon update (seems like it's just going to get better with what they've said) I'm taking this up first. It's like a DD WHM with unique buffs and enfeebles, what's there not to like.

SMN: Love my BP numbers, and always get compliments when I'm on it. I swear that's not the only reason I like playing it! Alexander/Odin seem neat, maybe they'll have a good use. Not looking forward to skilling SMN magic to cap. .____.; Unless it's horrible upon update, will level second.

BRD: It's useful, and that's never going to change.

COR: It's useful, and pretty fun to play.

WHM: Unless WHM becomes game-breakingly good.... not leveling it. (I.E. WHM is the new RDM)

The order I'll level:
PLD, WAR, BLM, BST, RDM, NIN, WHM, (SAM, THF)

DRG then probably SMN. Likely PLD to follow if I feel up for it. Not much beyond that. If SAM get something super amazing I might continue it but as of now it is retired at 61 because I hate the job.

if they make it so it actualy doesnt take like 2 partys to get 1 lvl or a party that lasts for hours i will prolly do my SCH first cos i <3 my SCH lol

then will prolly do COR cos thats alot of fun too.
but yea not even sure i will do 1 of em yet lol

1) Blu - Fav job and it would be awesome to be the one of the first Lvl 99 Blu's ^^
2) Drk - 2nd Fav, job and would love to see an Aspir II, even it if it's not introduced...besides..I love to leech life from *** >:D
3) Nin - Feel super safe on this job, lol gotta be safe in certain zones. Plus it's becoming a favorite job as well.

However it is tough to say because we do not know the higher level exp mob types... If it however remains as birds, i'll be leveling up in this order.

But there is NO WAY I'm taking BST to 99.

I'm taking drk to 99 then working on my rdm and blu subs, those extra spells and abilities will be pretty nice for drk.

My first 99 will be DNC or BST..... Or pld...

Go DNC.

In order:
1) BLM. Its my most useful job, and the one that will have the biggest increase in abilities and usefulness.
2) SMN. Its my favorite job, and also is useful for certain things.
3) SAM. I need a job for ***that can be burned. SAM is also my stronger of 2 DD jobs.
4) WAR. I like WAR, and look forward to skilling up all my weapons again.
5) RDM. Even though it has limited uses for my shell, it does get requested every now and then. Although I won't need to level DRK for chainspell stun anymore
6) BRD. I hate it, and will only level it if Mathus gives me a ***ton of gil and/or threatens to kick me out if I don't have it leveled lol
