Apollyon NE Floor #1 Thanks jingle! Banhammer said: » What are people using to drag all their alts up the various wings and floors? To prevent the alt-tab foobared Uninstall Windows 11 24H2 (or just use any of the other suggestions on the thread but I went with the simple one of staying away of that cursed update). As per the actual "ultimate solution", I hope we get it "soon", opened a Feature Request to SW: https://github.com/AkadenTK/superwarp/issues/71 Should maybe be noted, as far as alt tabbing goes, that windower added the ability to keybind switching directly to specific windows
the the command is Code switch to name so like Code bind ^F1 switch to bro I’ve done Apollyon four times so far this week, it says I can collect data one more time. What exactly does that mean? I can open one more chest in Apollyon, and then I can’t open anymore until conquest resets on Sunday?
That's what it means.
It's all part of a synergy. You get Units by killing mobs. The amount per kill drops once you get the KI for that floor (you still get units, just much less). This is their way to tell you "go to another floor/area", to avoid people permanently staying in a single spot. KIs are "consumed" to open a chest. You can open chests only 5 times per week. Which means that after that you get more KIs that you won't be able to consume, which implies you will get shitty units per kill. It might seem convoluted, but it's a complex, creative and adaptable gating system. I believe they really did a nice job this time, compared to other uberly restrictive systems they developed in the past, which just felt super punishing and frustrating. Asura.Sechs said: » It might seem convoluted, but it's a complex, creative and adaptable gating system. Basically it's designed for you to run from start to finish for each zone and then hit the chest, five times per week. This serves as a soft gate, but people can choose to keep getting points by farming mobs. The amount you get for subsequent bars is about half the original amount. Having done this as solo and with a party, I can say that the party is much faster. They really did a great job with making it universally available. An ideal week of climbing leaves us at
15k from chest 6k from the ??? ~22k from floor objectives (very rough estimate) which is about an 7k grind then to cap out.... That looks close to what I have from when I was mathing out temenos: ~8k per climb, 5 climbs = 40k. I didnt include the ??? because it doesnt exist in there.
Yes, I had Apollyon on the mind, since I just was finishing up there.
Yeah the ??? being stingy in Temenos is really adding to the grind. Ragnarok.Martel said: » Interesting little tidbit. Banish's SDT reduction vs undead appears to also extend to the DT that all Limbus mobs have. Banish II with +30 banish effect(which would cap the effect vs non-NMs) appears to be completely removing the damage reduction. And not just the regular undead related resistance. ![]() I will note, for anyone who is not aware, that the special defense reduction effect on Banish can be resisted. And this was getting resisted a lot when cast by a GEO/WHM. 220 divine skill, +223 MND, and +499 macc. WHM main wouldn't have any issues, I'd think, but subbed divine skill is quite a nerf. And the effect seems to be inaccurate to begin with. Still, pretty fun to be able to bypass the DT effect at all. If only on Undead mobs. Like, was this taken before or after you finished cleaning out your glass pipe? Posting a cut-n-paste of 99XXX which are all basically 99999's doesn't tell us anything if we have no clue what the testing conditions are for each value? Unless there is some sort of niche understanding about 99999's that only Tesla drivers would comprehend? ![]() But seriously it's working as intended, probably works better with banish+ 15,30,45? Seconds of damage reduction 50% against the existing 50% undead penalty So -25% more if you have gear So a undead such as a skeleton would only have a 25% penalty Meaning you are doing 75% dmg against undead instead of 50% All the mobs seem to have a 50%dt in limbus So this tower full of undead is great I mean... I would add that in my own experience... having done the climbs with my 3 chars WAR/COR/BRD/Sylvie/Monb/Koru then SAM then DRG... idk.. DRG feels way OP in there. WAR with S4 Prime GA I could reliably 3 step but not really 2 step with disaster. S5 Prime GK I could basically 2 step at will with mumei. Obv WS close to 3K > again close to 3K. 2 step. Diarmuid was on a whole other level, only S4. I was all ready to Diarmuid, do a jump for big TP to ensure the 2nd step was big... and it was like.. nah, no need. Diarmuid was just trashing everything cept bones basically. To the point where there was no chance it would live thru second step.

Theoretical best times with BiS group will be lower of course, but in the scenarios I'm reporting there was always some *** here and there slowing down the final amount of time. I'm quite satisfied, to be perfect this system would've needed 10k for each upgrade, instead of 10k, 15k, 20k, 25k and 30k. But I'm asking for too much, right? Maybe the NMs won't be too hard and maybe that will make points accruing slightly faster. Btw are the White Pixies immune to both light based sleeps (makes sense?) and dark based sleep too?
Today I had a BLU in pt and his Dream Flower couldn't land but I had no means to tell if it was a matter of his gear being super bad or the pixies being immune or something. I can say having means to breakga (entomb, or sch manifestation break I suppose) is super duper handy for Temenos East floor... whatever it is, floor 6? Small floor where you have Grahs underneath, and Dark and White pixies above. Dark one in front of entrance, White ones in front of exit. I mean, you can approach this in multiple ways, I'm just saying having some form of break makes it a no brainer for any party composition with any level of gear or skill. Keep this in mind if you want to build a PUG for Temenos 130 full clear. Asura.Illuminate said: » Like, was this taken before or after you finished cleaning out your glass pipe? I mean 200k Diarmuid is theoretically possible with 3000TP SV aria, some multihits proc etc. but I would say his screenshot is meant to say that he was doing ~99k frequently and I doubt he was doing Soul Voice Aria. I know it was said earlier in the thread but Shockwave is the lowman MVP of Temenos. I believe someone posted about it earlier, but can't find it now (and the bg wiki page doesn't say anything about it): What does changing your level for Limbus do as far as penalties are concerned? I did a few floors on 119 just to see how easy it was but switched back to 130. Got a message "all of your progress will be reset". I still have all of my 3 KIs I got under 119 and I didn't lose any Temenos Units. What "progress" is this system talking about?
