What is the point of Chakra potency +50% when it heals a monk for full HP with the correct gear? This would have been a much cooler option if they made it AOE and also healed MP, like the Chakra version from FFT

They strategically didn’t put drk on it so we can’t LR all the time to cap haste values more often! :(
if they put this under master trials with 5% drop rate, it would be much better and effective than the lockstyle weapon..

Yagyu Darkblade sounds interesting. UtsuAOE can have some potential for some stuff, especially if it is effective on offhand.

I'm worried and think the offhand working is wishful thinking, the trend for S/E lately is for things to be mainhand onry.
If it works offhand it would be amazing. The DEX on it is a pretty nice boost for Shun.
The fact effect is on a Bonanza weapon makes me sad. If it were on a crafted piece of gear, augmented onto Kikoku, or just a JA/Trait it would give people more reason to take NIN to stuff. Not only would it be a Hybrid DD/Emergency Tank, but it would be able to buff other DDs by mitigating some of their damage, Shadows would most likely be reapplied after each AOE.

As far as I know PLD doesn't have any Cure Potency II gear to confirm Majesty is actually the same outside of Janniston Ring +1 and the testing referenced on BGwiki didn't use it. Neither the patch notes or the in-game description describe it as Cure Potency II, either. isn't it entirely possible that the utsu shadows are based on the blank spell without any +from gear, job points and what not? SE loves to low ball so 1 aoe shadow for ichi, ni and 3 for san seems more likely, unless SE is trying to push a new bandwagon once it's attainable outside of bonanza.
flametongue looks pretty uninspired if you compare it to the other weapons. BLU used to be a pretty versatile job and now all they can come up with is more damage... disappointing.

reason the pole arm is mind is waters stat is mnd, just as fire is str and ice is int so yea >.>; should have tacked on a 80% mnd weaponskill (hydro thrust) and made it do water dmg I guess <.<
