Rigorous... Don't flame me but, that's the best grip BST can use with Drepanum for Spiral Hell. None Odyssey related, superwarper is no longer warping characters to a zone they don't have. Unsure if addon related or game update?
New Ghastly Tathlum is: INT+11, Mdmg+21
Pemphredo is INT+4, Macc+8, Mab+4 Ghastly was already better for stuff more heavily affected by Mdmg than Mab (NIN nukes, Helixes, low tier nukes), so now it's even better. But what for all the other stuff where Pempredo was better? Leaving aside the Macc+8, does INT+5/Mdmg+10 perform better than Mab+4 I wonder? I was kinda wondering if I could retire Pemphredo and gain an inventory+1 but I'm afraid that won't be the case... Odyssey:
6 floors with warps on floors 1, 3, and 6 Exit is on floor 5 Beastmen this time are Antica, Tonberries, and Sahagin. I didn't find a Halo on floor 1 (but it might have been there). I did find halos on floors 3, 5, and 6 I think. Floor 6 had a mix of the beastmen type while the other 2 were pure. Half-visible tonberries are as difficult to see as anticipated. Halo and chest placement seem a little less dickish this time. At least for the halo I killed on floor 6, it was pretty easily separable from the beastmen and basically between two groups of monsters. Also, there was a chest just sitting not in any monsters by the floor 3 porter. The zone is more spread out than Sheol A was. When I zoned in, it gave me a message that I had the same Moogle Mastery level that I had in A (IX), but the Moogle outside insists I have none. I don't know wtf moogle mastery does so I have no way to tell which of the two is right. I did get a Large Lustreless Hide box for clicking the exit. Monsters on the top floor were fine with a GEO + MNK, but maybe a bit harder than top floor monsters in Sheol A. I feel for Vsmite/StringingPummel on PUP this helmet might end up as the winner. I expect similar results to the MNK ones for BLU and CDC. It's arguably a pretty good option for TPing as well, when you don't have AM3 up at least and/or want acc and multiattack on jobs that lack such options (mage jobs, mostly) Not sure how it's gonna do for Evisceration on DNC and THF. Now that I've made JSE mantles, I don't like the look of these mantles that are getting competitive with JSE mantles.
Also, Marin staff +1 looks pretty good for wind nukes (unless you are worried about resists.) Don't sleep on Alhazen Hat +1 for WS either. 30 to all stats is a lot more than we normally get out of hats and it comes with 70 Acc. The FC+10% one would've been a nice inventory saver if it were an All Jobs cape, but it's not and most mages can easily cap FC even without the back slot, so I'm not sure it's really such a big deal. The Aurist+1 on the other hand it's actually better than ambu cape, not miles but it is. Oddly enough you won't be able to use it on RDM, at least on any spell affected by "Enfeebling Potency" stat, because for those you're gonna have to use Sucellos'. For every other spell and for all other mage jobs though, it's quite nice. Still not gonna beat Ambu capes as a nuking option though. Just an FYI; the Nostos Taurus in Sheol B are true sight, just like their lower level counterparts. Could have ended my climb to floor 5 but fortunately I only aggroed one (Was hitting my gimp THF for 400-450 per punch in 27% DT). I've not seen any other mobs yet that might be true sight/sound. [EDIT] Also, there's definitely a halo on floor 1 - that's where the Tonberries are. Stinger helm +1 seems interesting in a WS set :o
Can someone point where in the dats are the sheol B maps?
