Well the Dems basically just told Trump as long as his shutdown is going on there won't be a SOTU at Capitol Hill, he can do it from the Oval Office again if he wants to. All Trump can do about it is open the government.

Democrats have proposed funding border security inclusive of walls upwards of 54 billion dollars, now they cannot stomach 5 billion because “take that blumpf”.
They lose more and more ground everyday. We know this because they’re resorting to stupid talking points like we should protect the border because Trump said mexico would cut us a check (he never said this).

Actual source? Every poll has clearly showed a majority oppose a border wall and blame Trump for the shutdown. Trump has had 2 years to sell his stupid wall to America, and the best he can manage is 40% or less support?
Here is what I don't get, the Democrats could use the border wall funding as a bargaining chip to get some sort of law passed regarding DREAMers and possibly provide a pathway to citizenship for them.

And please remember that Trump was offered 25 BILLION for the fricking wall but he turned it down because it would have allowed some brown people, who weren't illegally employed at Trump golf courses, to remain in the country.

Border security has been on the table for years, we can secure the border without a stupid border wall that will never get built. Time for Trump to accept that and stop lying to everyone and open the gov't back up. Its a complete lie that a border wall is the only way to secure the border and no one is getting fooled by it.
Democrats have funded walls before, therefore they agree walls work. I mean they’ve voted for legislation thats had billions in wall funding in it before. I mean theres clips everywhere of them calling for barrier funding.
