I'm sitting here watching a Twitch stream of a JP player on my server, and their connection is fine. They're running through town, and I can't spot a single NA or EU player around. Whatever it is, it must be regional. i am back online

Someone is mad that they stole their internet packets...so they are attacking SE !

If a DDoS attack is the reason for connection issues, SE is not the intended target, it's just a casualty of the attack. I'm online and so are many others, if the SE servers were being flooded highly doubt anyone would be able to log in or stay logged in.

Anyone able to log in yet?
Been trying to get on all day and still getting that silly network error... I'm "on", but with dropping and delay I might as well not be.
edit: there's roughly a 25 second delay. Ro and no way to get back online again for the eu part. Hope they fix it asap :/
i was on for a bit. took a bunch of tries to get logged into POL, then when i went to the mog garden i was r0ing and having 5~20 seconds lags with NPCs. crashed out in the mog garden. havent been able to log on since.
now im getting POL-2059 errors, they screwed up big time.
So I hopped on my mobile hotspot which shouldn't be impacted by the DDoS attack and it still did the same thing, meaning it is on SE's side, yes? Seeing as Verizon is not being DDoS'd.
From what I've noticed the game's connection seems to deteriorate gradually, from being playable without any issue, to minor lag, to r0's every minute or so, to barely playable with r0's every 5 to 10 seconds, to completely kicked off pol. Which can be consistent with what happens during a DDoS attack.

Seeing as Verizon is not being DDoS'd. No, it just means that somewhere along your connection route your ISP is connecting through is being affected. I confess ignorance, I don't fully understand DDoS, but if Verizon was under attack it would have more impact than this, yes? Also, I haven't ever heard of a wireless network being DDoS'd, but again, my ignorance on the matter.
