Our group did this (changed the War to Blu) everything else identical, cleared in 5 mins.

Brd sleeps all
Run supertanks
War (Blu) does solo light from behind boss from time to time while the sam kills the adds
Order seemed (was) to be tamer warlock reaver dualist pugilist bst pet then boss
Rdm and blm obviously need to be silenced
By the time they got to the boss he was already at like 25%

Roughly how much m.acc does Brd need this month? Obviously g-horn + moonbow whistle, but what tier gear? Is it Omen/Reisenjima HELM tiered, or Reisenjima T2?
I've heard from some folks that this month's V1 ambuscade has weirdly low magic evasion, but idk if this is true or not. (Asking to see if I can bring along weaker brds or not)

Things were very easily sleepable by both brd and geo with no abilities needed. The harder part was just trying to get silence to land but if your melee are strong enough, silence doesn't matter and it just becomes a race to see if u can get the annoying things dispelled/finaled. examples - dread spikes from reaver, shock spikes from duelis OR get silence to land so neither do these things.
All in all, keep aura off MB at all times, no need for silly carols or vex period and Smash smash smash. easy month

Same here, dropped my Trust tank with it on VE right off the start. Very nasty surprise!

Meh, it's actually more work to use SMN this time. Very simple DD VD So long as you have adequate resist charm.

So long as you have someone keeping the aura down, there is no risk of being charmed.

I probably missed it but what happens if you kill megaboss before the others? I guess the adds gain some strong DT, correct?
We accidentally killed boss too fast yesterday on VD and noticed the last 2-3 adds that were still alive took longer than expected to kill.
Not sure if it was just bias caused by something else though.
Btw which one is the AoE charm move and who uses it? Megaboss or BST?

The mega boss does manic dance (charm) if aura is on and left up for 2 tp moves, the 3rd tp move is charm i believe.

The BST does AOE Charm. Mega Boss Charm is single target.

Boss only used single target charm as far as we could see, in VD. light carol helps and prob the light runes too. Once we remembered to use these, the RUN has been resisting charm.
iirc bst wont use charm unless we accidentalyl kill the pet first.
also yes, boss aura gives a strong DT, and again, iirc, if you kill the boss the remaining adds gets the stupid DT or at least PDT effect.

Can confirm, you don't need Carols or Rune Fencer or Fealty. Just keep aura off and/or keep your back turned, and Manic Dance won't be a problem.
The only trick is if hate gets reset w/ aura on, you don't want it wandering too far, or the tank will have to turn around to get hate back, which could lead to a Charm. Have everybody stand close by, preferably w/ Wilt support. It goes without saying, that if you pull hate w/ aura on, turn your back asap.

We got any idea of what makes him cast death? Any type of trigger maybe?
Few times when we opened with sleepga ive seen him do it... But it could be my imagination.

About to jinx it by saying this, but I've never seen it cast death at all. I've done a dozen VD and a few N/D
Relatively easy silence on every mob except the damn DRK, even the boss is pretty easy to silence

Either we were just insanely lucky across like 6-8 runs, or it's a gaze. PLD in corner, back turned when aura up -- no vex/attune, no carols, no Addle.
The one time our PLD did get Charmed, he had to turn around to chase after the main after a hate reset during aura. Otherwise, no Charm.

The boss and adds take double damage when they are under the effect of their SP, this doesn't negate Invincible and Elemental Sforzo.
For some reason, you can skip Invincible phases at 75/50/25% if you stun the boss at the right time. For example: Shock Squall boss at 76% > bring him to 73% with a WS > no Invincible. I think a normal Stun would work because even a 3 seconds Shock Squall is enough to skip Invincible.

Wish Kenshi would update it to add a blacklist/whitelist system to Partybuffs.
As it stands out now it would be very useful for me as a "quick glance" system to check if songs are up on every pt member, but when you have to carefully look and search song icon between 2000 song icons it starts losing its "fast glance" aspect.
Didn't do the first orc intense ambuscade, but I looked up a little info from it from the first time. Links to previous discussion below. Hope it helps.
