Slightly inferior to swift as far as sam goes, but good alternative if you don't feel like going to get one I suppose.

First off, your avatar is creepy as all ***. Secondly I'd disagree. Those console based sams would drool over this, one less macro line to use up for WS macros! Haste, attack, mods for ws and ofcourse since they are 2handers, they benefit from the 2hander formula for dex and str. okay 1 less haste, woop de doo really, when you weigh the benefits.

Omg I don't have to macro doesn't make warwolf better to TP in, sorry. More convenient, yes, better, no.

If instead of 3 attack that was 3 acc. Then you'd have nothing to say.

Convenient can be better when its a choice between that and soemthing that will make a bigger difference. Just look at all the rngs going gaga over extended the duration of a ja they had on full time as is. It does nothing but make it more convient yet people still going crazy

"Convenient can be better when its a choice between that and soemthing that will make a bigger difference." Or you can macro in belt AND w/e else you were going to macro in its place. More tedious? Yes, but it is better than just fulltiming warwolf. They have macros that can change your pallet and macro book now. If you have a 2part macro at the end have it swap to another pallet and all you do is hold down CTRL or ALT (or the shoulder buttons on console) and press the confirm button twice instead of once and end the last macro w/ it changing back to your orig macro book.

"If instead of 3 attack that was 3 acc. Then you'd have nothing to say."
Wrong, I'd have to say it would depend on your hitrate.

For a DoT job, definitely, but sam is generally 30% DoT and 70% ws damage. That one haste will apply to all of his dmg (helps DoT by landing more swings, and helps ws dmg because you get tp faster and will ws more times). TP'ing in str/attack is only going to help his DoT, which is only 30% of his damage. w/e % increase you get from 5 str 12 attack (Including the attack from str) gets multiplied by .3 to give you the actual increase.

Which is why in particular, I said, "for sam"

Nice belt, and it is about as good as a 'full time' item can be.

But even if you want to pull the lolconsole card:

Looking at Seipher's SAM he will be switching the following for WS:
* Head
* Neck
* Hands
* Legs
* Feet
* Ring
* Earring (maybe)
* Neck (maybe)

So when you include the /ws "XXXX" <t> line that is 7-9 lines of macros (allowing for the fact that the last two are 'maybe's).

That's requires 2 macros....
Switching Swift and Warwolfs as well ALSO requires 2 macros...
No reductions in the number of buttons pushed...

The screen shot is about 1/2 a page up, and unless he plans to WS in haste/accuracy gear I have listed the minimum number of items he will swap

There is scope to swap his back and body too, but I left them out.

And as far as the value of changing, Veg is right.

Which is stupid really as SAM is easy to plan gear for:

6hit + as much haste as you can + accuracy = TP build
STR = WS build

Lowering haste or accuracy for attack or any other stat (in TP) is counter-productive.

At least there is something to debate in SCH bs BLM threads.
