I will guess you did tons of SWORDS for -slit Stones. i have been rotating eudaemon items never going same twice in a row i just sometimes have the bundy luck lol
only really after helios telchine and taeon but i did let a few ls members afk overnight to leech random ***lol

Heard you could but went 0/50 with +2 stones. Thought it'd be cheaper than leafslit but never saw it. Perhaps people that got it, got it from those random bad rolls(stones can occasionally give you a 'bad roll' in which case you get stats from a diff stone category). 0/50 with Leatip+2 just seems really low...
I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure WSD is from duskstips, not leaftips. If anybody knows for sure, please let me know.

How was I able to get DMG:16 and WSD 2% on the same weapon though? O_o Oh nvm I was right, 5% WSD possible on 1h weapons with Leaftip/slit, it's just incredibly rare..
But I've seen Quadruple Attack on h2h, and the DMG from Duskslit on 1h says cap is 15 but I have 16. Dusk is wsd for gear.
Some extra testimonies from thf guide: Quote: Went through 50+ Leafslits now without seeing Crit dmg+ or Weaponskill sdmg+ ...... can anyone please reconfirm that leafslits are the stones to use for weapons skill dmg+ on Ipetam weapon??? Quote: yep leaftip did the trick... Quote: I went through 52 leafslit+1 myself, and 25 leaftip+1 and didn't get WSDMG at all. Went through 7 leafslit+2 and got it twice. Who knows, maybe they left it out when they nerfed the stones. Remember weapon augments does not belong to new RNG system, but the previous one.
Its sucks as much as you can take. Joined a PUG with some notable odin players, was asked if I could do the book. I thought: I've done a few of these now, I understand how the book works even if I've never actually done it, I got this. I .... well I did ok, but I found I had questions I didn't anticipate, and we lost on the 4th floor because I didn't keep a close enough eye on the march. Mostly do to over-thinking other aspects of running the book or assumptions that were incorrect. So... a few questions....
1) when is it necessary to upgrade the book and when is it a waste of points and thus time? Is it pretty straightforward (1st floor no upgrade, floor 2-3 get to level 2, floor 4+ level 3 required), or more situational, or both? Should you not bother with colibris and crabs if your upgrading, just call your worms and start saving points? 2) Are certain valiants better for certain things? I noticed right away the colibri have a higher movement speed, and were thus better if your valiants were walking uncontested to the stronghold. Is there a breakdown of the stregnths/weaknesses of specific valiants? How much more effective are the level 2 and 3 valiants than the level 1s? Also, should the shijin (sp? the byakko/genbu/etc. valiant) be called as soon as is feasible? heard rumors their presence buffs the other valiants, true? 3) The marchland is under attack! Check it, its at 99%. The marchland is under attack! 98.5%. The marchland is under attack! 8%.... oshit, let me pop the ke... nvm we lost. The run I fouled up went something like that. I had a herd of worms and some mobile valiants too, all fighting, and somehow a few mobs busted through the line and went straight for the march, and the valiants could have cared less, being occupied with other mobs. Curious as to the mechanic behind this. If all valiants are engaged and a new mob strolls up, is that what lets it pass uncontested? Do valiants ignore everything else when they're attacking something? Is worm AOE the only thing that has a chance to snag new incoming mobs in the middle of a pitched battle? 4) Buffing the Valiants. Has anyone found it beneficial to go on smn (or rdm, to a lesser degree) and leave the book for a few seconds when the coast looks clear to buff the valiants? Worth it for the shijin only? certain others? Never worth the risk? I'm determined to be good at this, any feedback or additional advice is appreciated. Mobs shouldn't ever be coming close enough to camp for Worms to matter. Just have Colibri meet the mobs out halfway and keep the battle there. You don't want ***AoEing your camp. Ideally, if you have a SMN, they can hold the first few mobs and the battle will take place directly on the enemy's stronghold.
Edit: My book order isn't always the same, but in general, I usually do: 1F - 2-3 Colibri > Shijin > Rest of the Colibri > Crabs Never had first floor take long enough to where I needed to do more than that. 2F - 2-3 Colibri > Shijin > Rest of the Colibri > Book Upgrade > Scorpions > Adamantoise Usually don't need to get to the Adamantoise 3F - 1-2 Colibri > Shijin > Book Upgrade > Scorpions > Adamantoise 4F and on - 1 Colibri > Shijin > Book Upgrade > Scorpions > Adamantoise > Book Upgrade > Ajarratas/Tomes On later floors I can start doing book upgrades back-to-back and immediately start on Ajarattas/Tomes, and then move down to Scorpions/Adamantoise and the other level 2 Valiants. Also keep an eye on the Shijin in your list. You want to make sure they're always out. On solo torso 3 runs (floor 1-3) I usually stop killing elementals/using book once I summon a shijin + a couple not worm mobs and just buff/cure them. Floor 4 seems impossible on a single character.
Agreed on the worms. Nothing should be getting close enough to make them matter at all. Obviously if some break through, bring out some worms, but otherwise you want to take the fight to the stronghold quickly.
A GEO can also hold the mobs at the stronghold very well, and can even stall an entire horde with dematerialize. Any good data so far on which Eudaemon items correspond to which armor drops? My LS has a a lot of people needing Taeon and Helios, both of which certainly seem less common from the swords many groups use. Purely speculation, but if there's some sort of design logic based on the item type as matching "related" jobs (in the sense of commonly held mental associations), perhaps: Blade = Acro. "Blade" seems to conjure images of a fighting class. Also matches the known -slit affinity. Cape/Ring = Helios/Telchine. Not sure which is which, but those are the most "magey" kinds of items. Both also match their affinity for -dim stones. Shield = Yorium. Shield corresponds to "tank" stuff. -tip stones as sort of the oddball stone that had to go somewhere, so tank set makes sense to be paired with the stone which also doesn't correspond to typical DD, mage, or pet augments. Sash = Taeon. Process of elimination, but does correspond to -orb stone affinity and Taeon being the set with the most pet jobs (PUP BST DRG) if you're looking for a connection. I'm gonna try some Sash pops tonight and see what happens. Small sample size, etc., but the Eudaemon effect on armor drops does seem to be a thing that we can flesh out more. Did several sash runs last night and got Telchine every time, not much Taeon. So maybe it is indeed the case that Sash = Telchine.
Revised possible favored drops: Shield = Yorium Blade = Acro Sash = Telchine Cape? = Helios? Ring? = Taeon? Would love to see more people's observations over a decent chunk of runs with certain eudaemon items to help get some confidence on these! At first when i did all my runs with blade, i got countless helios, few taeons and telchines, even lower yorim but zero acro (it was more than a stack of blades).
If someone manage to just to get acro from blades, i will say its random and segment does not favor a specific set.
