I was wondering if someone would be able to post the order of jobs from most able to least able when it comes to soloing. Also, if you could explain the main method each job takes when it comes to soloing. I am aware of most but I'd like to know the most efficient way for each job.
When I say Solo, I mean anything. Solo XP, Solo NM hunting, Solo Farming, what have you. I am just interested in how people solo with their job, and how efficient they find it. Of course people will have different strategies, which is why I'm interested.

Well, when it come to soloing huge/hard NMs, you can use a good RDM/NIN "but it require skills & good gears"
like in sky, somes RDMs use to solo their Gods pops, from Despot to even Ulli, when the diorites mind droping.
Other than that, for the FoV exp, i experienced them as DRG/WHM, with the bonus providen there its almost too easy.
Good Blus can also solo exp easily, or BLMs, killing BST Gobs pets. there is a lot of way.
I also seen somes BST soloing in Acqueduc or Sacrarium for their subligars or Codex, which i find interesting, other than exping solo as they have the habit to do.

BLM/RDM can solo well, I solo'd BLM from 50-72 pretty much, until I was invited to some pudding and mothra burns
As long as a Cor has a kiting path and some form of +Movement speed, Cor/depends can solo stuffs. It takes forever though.
When it comes to exp, DRG/mage does very well. You can pretty much plow through T-VT, some IT even with the right gear/merits, all with no downtime between fights or chains.
I used to get around 6k+ exp/hr on sea puks at MJSP back when I had mostly an AH build, so I could probably get a bit more these days.
Greater Colibri give even better exp, as you can get chain 4-5 pretty easily, though it's a bit riskier.

I've actually seen whm's do pretty good against some undead, although they were Easy Prey and they were using clubs. I don't know very much of what whm's can solo aside from that. Their attack rating is rather low no matter what weapon they use. Maybe whm/nin dual-wielding a pair of clubs? I dunno. At least you can toss up a Reraise before you try soloing that DC or higher...
Nothing big, atleast. Mystic Boon makes MP recovery better, but still would take a long, long time to kill things. Whm has ***Eva so if the mob has any good Acc, those shadows will go down fast.
For soloing big things, I gotta put SCH ahead of all other jobs.
For soloing exp, DRG/BLU, no question.

DRG/RDM is particularly deadly for soloing.
I've seen my brother get an EXP chain 4 while soloing beetles at level 62.
Also duoing and trioing groups of DRG/WHM, DRG/RDM, and DRG/Anything work really well I find

i made this awesome list of every job in the game and the reasons they're great soloers. but i decided not to post because someone would argue that thf should be higher than nin, but below dnc. i'm not really qualified to have that discussion.
but making the list i realised all of the jobs *can* solo excellently in certain circumstances- except war and brd.

I've heard DRG/BLU is great for soloing, defense+ spells, healing spells and you can still use healing breath.
NIN/DNC is great for soloing as well, I love playing it solo.

I call shenanigans... Ive known wars who could keep shadows up really well. Much better than your average nin or pld and at the same time do great dmg. And brd well... um yeah lots of regen?

If there are enough decent lvl pets or if jugs can survive long enough bst can solo it

Thf w/ capped marksmanship is nice butMarksmanship misses a ***load more then my katanas will lol, more steady healing, THF solo good, but not an incredibly steady way to heal themselves, just them bolts, Samba and Waltz are beast Nin/Dnc, I can see a good Dnc/Nin out soloing a THF, because they have that steady curing, Thf cant heal in mass, so id say Nin/Dnc > Dnc/Nin > Thf/Nin
Also, Some jobs solo some mobs better then some jobs.
Since Bst's solo 1~75, Effectively, by default its pretty much BST lol.

But THF has 60 EVA over NIN, and NIN has 20 over DNC. Honestly there's no better way to solo than just not taking damage at all in the first place.

Pup can solo many ways. Pup/war to straight tank, pup/nin for some of the harder hitting mobs "the ones that hit for 300+ a wack" this is with the whm or rdm head vs. T to VT+ mobs Then you can out sleep nuke the best blm's in the long run as pup/sch. Using the blm head of course vs. IT++ mobs.
