I was using it for just Delve NM status without a bard, which is the situation I was doing farming more pluton. But yes, I understand your point.
*Not that it matters, with full buffs, still don't see a use for ice legs* Tojil's stats are a fair bit higher than other delve nms
And your point isn't really relevant, how about useful information in relation to what situation they would be useful for if you are going to argue that they are useful, instead of arguing about how I was doing my spreadsheet math.
How is it not relevant? You're using a target with way higher DEF and way higher EVA than the mobs you would be fighting. You're not getting any accurate numbers there, and therefor, your spreadsheet math is fairly pointless, aside from pure speculation.
How about useful information? It's useful because it's additional datapoint that says the exact same thing (even with bard and cor buffs, I was just using it as an example). It was relevant to me, because it says that regardless of delve fodder mobs, or mobs with much higher stats, the results don't change.
Modified my original post: Edit: Because of annoying forum trolls, I redid this with all buffs spreadsheet can do in all possible combinations, including cor/brd buffs, and never found a situation where ice legs were better. Just did SKC20 "divine punishers" in very hard mode, and got junk considering the time it takes to farm a pop, even during the current campaign (~1H with 6). Got 1 pluton, and 1 pluton case >< :( Was expecting a box, maybe it's a low droprate. Anyway we went
MNK/MNK/BRD/BRD/WHM/WHM clear time 23 minutes with much room for improvement. You need to pack accuracy (manibozho), sushi and 2x madrigal and accuracy is capped. ![]() What are thoughts on Quiahuiz Leggings for Mnk? Worth using at all? I don't see them fitting in TP sets, and unsure for WS.
They suck
Bleh, we did another very hard mode skc20 and got 2 single rme upgrade coins, so I think the last hopes totally vanished. It's safe to say boxes don't exist. They don't even drop a case 100% -.-
pchan said: » They suck Any testing behind this? It's supposedely 5% damage boost on double attacks. My awesome source is a guy from a random pickup but I don't expect anything better knowing SE.
Still, why does that suck? They still have alot of STR and Attack.
Because otronif have superior stats before even beeing augmented.
edit : actually they seem better than non augmented otronif, but crit% on VS works on all hits so basically they are inferior. 119 Spharai only or gtfo
DA+2 on head/hands and Crit+2 on legs/feet, TP in head/hands VS in feet/legs is this correct?
I'm TP in legs/hands currently(DA%), but feet are definitely crit+ piece only. Is the crit+ on the head better than the captcha hat? (I'll spreadsheet later, just genuinely curious since captcha hat has +3% crit rate)

I wasn't able to get the spreadsheet to work out any real use for the ice legs over otronif or R15 Manibozo ItemSet 315421 Hands have DA+2% All Manibozho are R15 STR Things I tried to change - Ammo for Honed tathlum Legs for Ice Legs, DA otronif Waist for Anguinus Belt Body for Thaumas, Otronif (DA+2%) Head for Whirlpool (wins with impetus down) But this set seemed to work best for Delve fodder/Tojil with at least haste, focus, Impetus. Edit: Because of annoying forum trolls, I redid this with all buffs spreadsheet can do in all possible combinations, including cor/brd buffs, and never found a situation where ice legs were better. Someone told me this is a good VS settup: (ALL Mani R.15 Path A)
ItemSet 315470 Quiahuiz Leggings > Mani Legs (R.15) or so I Heard You aren't reading anything wrong. Whirlpool is only better than Uk'uxkaj when its acc/atk are benefitting you. In a full buff scenario where you are most likely acc/atk capped, the only thing whirlpool gives you over Uk'uxkaj is a few points of str and a loss of 4 dex. Uk'uxkaj will be giving you 2 less str, but +4 dex and +3% crit rate.
SKC10 very difficult seem have the same dame drop pool as SKC20 as far as RME-upgrade item goes. 10 SKC for 2 single if unlucky or 1 single+1 case if lucky (to split between 6 char), GJ SE.... I wish y'all a happy matamata hunting.
I updated my high buff sets:
TP, highbuff, impetus up: ItemSet 315600 TP, high buff, impetus down: ItemSet 315601 Smite, highbuff, impetus up: ItemSet 315602 Smite, highbuff, impetus down: ItemSet 315603 Notes: - Quiahuiz are about a 20DPS (~1.4%) increase over Otronif in the impetus up TP set, certainly helped by Cetl belt being a nice replacement for Twilight Belt. DA damage on the legs isn't accounted for in the spreadsheet so I added a another path to a DPS number where: meleeDPS = meleeDPS + meleeDPS * (1 - QA) * (1 - TA) * DA * .05 - Elemental gorget is barely behind Rancor Collar in the impetus up smite set, so I'll probably just use that for now until I can find a collar again. - That new back piece is pretty sexy! I haven't gone through the lower pdif sets yet but I'm sure there will be a some changes. I'll use the above sets for some easier fracture NMs if I have a 4song BRD and possibly shark. Maybe fodder level mobs as well if I'm 2boxing with my BRD (ghorn). Thoughts? Edit: Modified sets a little bit by replacing Cheruski with Tantra Tathlum (derp) and I didn't notice how strong Boor Bracelets are for VS. I think Boor are probably fantastic on bosses where we're not likely to gain much from ddex. They don't begin losing to crit+2 Otrnoif until you suffer 3% crit loss from ddex, so that's a pretty decent gamble, especially for those of us who only have Crit+1 on our Otrnoif. pchan said: » They suck Do you have any definitive testing with the pants other than "they suck?" What little testing I've done shows Lion pants / Mani feet best combo thus far for TP set. I can understand if WS frequency with Otronif Legs and Otronif Feet (or Mani feet) will be better. But as of right now I think they are worth looking into. Thoughts? to take into account the DA damage boost dont forget that kicks are ignored so you replace the number of punches, not kicks. punches per round +2* (1 - QA) * (1 - TA) * DA *0.05*hitrate; here im assuming the DA dammage applies to the 2nd hit only (of course?). Im using the following buffs: haste, soulvoice impetus berserk, marchx1 minuet x3 madrigalx2, chaos roll, fighter's roll, 4 GEO buffs. Your set is at 981 DPS (for otronif, assuming 2%DA on hands and 2% crit on leg feet) Ive got a better gear set that dont use gua leggings: replace hands leg feet on TP by otronif x3 with crit and you're at 983. DA damage can apply to either hit.
Then one should multiply the "punch damage per round" (cell B109)
(1+((1-qa)(1-ta)da*2*0.05 )) If they follow war AF2+2, they don't proc on ws anyway. Replace B109 by
=((B105*B107)+(B105*G$20*B87)+(B107*B104))*F109 Replace F109 by =(1+((1-B65)*(1-B64)*2*B63*0,05)) put quiahuiz on set1 on TPs |
