As far as i am aware all weapons and gear that have a r/ex and rare version are the exact same except for this one.
Love the Rajas ring idea also. We absolutely need more lines in our macros. I know you're reluctant because you think this will open up more botting. But lets be realistic here. If someone is botting they are most likely using a PC to do so and with tools like windower already available for PC the only ones you are really hurting is the console players who are stuck with not enough lines to do all our gear swaps.
As previously mentioned, all mission rewards upgraded to 99.
Chatoyant Obi is a good idea as well. Cheap, or easily obtainable, level 99 shurikens, with a high damage number. In addition, to get around the issue of no space for throwing weapon skills, just make the archery/marksmanship weapon skills work for throwing, with 2-3 unique. Medicated effects, Batteries, wind fans, etc. and cor bullets? Who comes up with this stuff and I didn't read the thread(s) about this but possibly out of all the ideas, this is what they thought to use as either an example or the top three? Didn't they say that they would take a serious look at weaponskills in the game and possibly redo some a long time ago? Think at the moment, that and the scaling up of items such as CoP rings, maat's cap, TAU rings etc. would be the most worthy things, something that would benefit all jobs instead of just a handful.
Also know this will NEVER happen, but before gear is released, put some type of poll up or seriously take a look at gear in the game before it is released. If as many devs actually play the game as they make it seem, why would they release most of this gear in updates that are side grades at best? Seems the gear that gets released now has no real direction anymore from the stuff in the past updates. Though I will say that enlight negating the en-effect actually made the killshot trials easier (it had a tendency to activate and kill mobs I was getting weak enough for KoR to actually kill). Also, I wasn't being facetious at all about four lines. BRING ON THE SPAM. It's still nothing compared to MUDs after all.
