Hello everyone!
There have been a couple of suggestions related to item improvements, which received responses that I would like to pass on. Likewise, if there are any item you would like to see changed, improved, modified, etc. please let us know!
I think it would be okay to reduce the time of the "medicated" effect after using items like Icarus Wings. |
I believe we can look into this to follow the changing battle pace and the time required for content. In the case we do this, there would be necessary adjustments that would take place at the same time for other elements such as abilities and magic that have effect durations. Please give us some time to look into and implement this.
You should make it so batteries, wind fans, and hydro pumps can be used with any weapon to elicit their effects. |
These items don't actually possess any effects; it just enables the special weapons to elicit their effects when consumed. In other words, from a system perspective, just equipping these items cannot bring out an added effect. With that said, we will look into some different kind of way to do this for existing weapons.
Please make it so we can buy corsair bullets from a Qiqirn in Nashmau. |
We will try and look into ways that corsair bullets can be obtained. Since there are almost no NPCs in Vana'diel who sell bullets, we would first like to look into offering them as items that can be exchange for specific content points or as a reward for Walk of Echoes. | |

before i get more items i first need a place to keep them, how about 200 slots instead of 80, and 20 line long macros instead of 6, the i could actually use them effectively.

I am in no way responsible for the original idea, but one of the best and most realistic minor changed I've heard suggested is that Omphalos Bullet should actually be a pouch that dispenses one rare/ex bullet, and that the pouch would have a one-week recast or something of that nature -- no more face-palming over misfires.
If I had to come up with something myself, I'd probably suggest that the gear itself (not talking about uncursed HQ hexed gear) that drops in Legion should have had better stats to promote participation. There are only 5 or 6 items that have some niche use, and 2 or 3 that are legitimately "best in slot" pieces. This kind of stems back with how powerful floor 100 NNI gear is though, and the whole can of worms pertaining to how most of us shouldn't have 75% of the nyzul gear we have in the first place.

This. It'd be fantastic, yet not entirely game-breaking to have a ring with 7 STR, 7 DEX, 7 sTP, and 7 subtle blow.

Relics are fine, just some of the ws's wiff hard core, some not all ofc.

Isn't Lux Pugio and Couriscanti decent? Think the 99 daggers is meh when the good daggers are really relic/crouiscanti/Empyrean (85 is decent) or some magian eva dagger.... Only thief dagger I can think of is like TH+2 knife with 45 dmg and 190 delay >> that would be nice lol

Too many things wrong this statement. (ie comparing a 99 weapon to a 95 weapon, NNI rather than a zerg situation, etc)
I think what you meant to say is nerf Resolution, but once in awhile a relic weaponskill such as Catastrophe will out damage a resolution.
Basically your statement is not comparing apples to apples rather an golden apple to a iphone 5.

Is there any conceivable way (I honestly have no idea) that the code would allow for FFXI to support a transmog-type system like WoW has?
I love samurai and warrior, but seriously. I've spent the vast majority of my FFXI career as the victim of a fashion hate crime. Especially as an elvaan. Have you seen a domaru on an elvaan? Ugh.

I'd like to be able to do something more with my Maat's Cap after all the time spent on it. Upgraded ACP,AMK,ASA, would be nice as well and of course Raja's Upgrade

And remove the salvage/assault restrictions on the toau rings perhaps.
Also suggested before a merged chatoyant obi from the In the Name of Science quest. Or merged magial trial staffs if you do all 8 of 1 type perhaps.
ZNM/Assault stuff+1 perhaps.
Slightly improve all stats on the extra body/head/legs expansion packs(acp/asa etc), there are a few remaining good combinations of augments but not many.

Basically upgrade the stuff we worked our tails off at 75 for, that hasn't already been done.
COP, ZM, WOTG etc.
Did they actually upgrade Sky gear? Or just make it augmentable?

Allow NQ un-hexed gear to be augmented.
Or, inversely, drastically increase the drop rates of materials for the synths.
I understand the impetus behind only HQ gear being augmentable, but when even the NQ cost millions of gil and some of the HQ cost more than 99 Relic/Empyrean weapons, you've got too far on exclusivity.
