Ingame item codes notoriously show up on JP's Yahoo auctions, and this is perhaps the best way to circumvent both that and "play til you win".

Though people will still sell the codes even if the winning item is unknown.. they'll easily triple in price >_>

Not sure what to think of this. It's just mogbonanza for RL money (which btw, when are we getting another one of those >_>).

A lot of people raged when Blizzard started selling in-game items for real money, but at least those were all vanity items with no impact on the game. From a business standpoint, it was a pretty good move. Think they made something like 4 mil in the first few hours when they released the first mount for sale.

I'm hoping they have something planned for the majority of the players. I know se is notoriously HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE when it comes to reading their customer base, but they had to have known this would irk a LOT of people.

funny and it is not fair but u know what other company dose things like this sega,psu japan is years a head of psu us,they have plants and sub space zones that we do not even have yet and most likely wont have thanks to the dum updates they give.

I'm pretty sure that "panoplia" also refers to the weapons.

Panoplia is Greek and means "complete collection of arms," referring to sword/shield/lance/helmet/greaves/breastplate.
