Be happy I didn't share. :) Long story short...Don't smoke while on birth control. Better yet, don't smoke. Thank you for not elaborating on the blood clots :|
I am unhappy that you did not share in greater detail.
oh another interesting thing in regard to the constitution in regards to intellectual property, it's supposed to be protected for a limited amount of time in order to encourage growth.
Wonder how many people of both parties would nullify some copyrights after 5-10 years. (random number that I just made up, don't take any meaning behind it). Damn inferior human's need for sleep..... I missed all the action last night!

We're not misguided. She isn't trying to be the poster anything. The problem is that people don't realize that they aren't required to follow the nonsense a political party is shoving down their throats. Secondly PP isn't a politically motivated ANYTHING. Don't read pamplets that people you know are passing out, go to a PP and ask yourself and it's not a women's health system /facepalm... it's a community service. Lastly title x forbids what you are claiming and you will never find any proof in your favor because it doesn't exist. This is why you should research things yourself. Look at it this way:
You could have your tax dollars spent on preventing unnecessary births, or you can use your tax dollars towards the benefits and well being of unnecessary births from life to death. Protip: One is far more expensive than the other. Planned Parenthood isn't politically motivated? WTF? Really?
Sounds like you are the one who needs to do some research. Geeez. I guess PITA, Unions, Moveon.org, or the NRA aren't politically motivated either. Well of course they're politically motivated to some degree because their foundation is often at the mercy of federal funds and government spending. One can't be politically stoic when their institution lies either in a cradle or a noose depending on partisan influence and policy. But frankly I'm all for planned parenthood and the federal funding of birth control. If you have to ask why, just watch this video (as pessimistic as it is).

I guess PITA, Unions, Moveon.org, or the NRA aren't politically motivated either. comparing the NRA to planned parenthood is like comparing an In-n-Out burger animal style to a salad with no dressing. Complete opposite sides of the spectrum. PP is a non-pro that provides healthcare services. Healthcare by definition is supposed to not be politically affliated via the Hippocratic/Physician's Oath. "I will not permit considerations of religion, nationality, race, party politics, social standing, or sexual orientation to intervene between my duty and my patient." Ha Ha - You are correct sir.
PITA - made with lamb, and they are delicious. PETA - People Eating Tasty Animals, and I hear their naked super model activist are delicious. Smoke what?

Planned Parenthood screened more than 4 million patients in 2010 for STD, STI, HIV and HPV. Here's another one of those disturbing almost 100 percent statistics, too: Women testing positive for those conditions contracted their problem from a man. So, fellas, how hard is it to understand that when Republicans try to defund Planned Parenthood, it's your health they are jeopardizing, too? Quote: You finished too soon. The Right is climbing in your bedroom window. This is not just a question of women's health care; it's about the health of every American drawing a breath. It's past time to speak up. Write letters to elected officials. Make your voices heard on social networks. Don't just attend women's health care rallies. Organize them. Give to Planned Parenthood. Vote the barbarians out of office. Because of physiological differences (have we mentioned how happy those make us?), men and women need different kinds of health services. And those of us who are of the male gender ought to be embarrassed that women's health care is a political issue. That singular fact in this election year points to a moral and medical failure. The line might be a bit hackneyed but it's probably true that if men got pregnant, reproductive health and the sanctity of individual choice wouldn't be issues. While the aim of that article is definitely good. 1) it fails to highlight that women take birth control for other reasons besides contraception. 2) it can be read two ways:
a)one can read this as supporting the notion that men should have an equal voice in female health care(which i do not support). or b)one could read it as, men should help their girlfriends/wives/daughters. "But we do get pregnant, boyos. Do we really need to explain that pregnancy is a biological and emotional condition shared by men and women?" No men don't get pregnant lol. And its not shared lol. When males start getting stretch marks and carrying that heavy thing for 9 months then we're talking. Oh lets not forget the spider veins and varicose veins women get on their thighs from carrying children. Men also don't have to endure the physical pain of labor. Also PPD from pregnancy isn't shared by men. This women on the forums on huffingtonpost puts it best "listen to the number of young women that become pregnant and the boy is nowhere to be seen, often at the assistance of the young man's family (little Billy is the not the one pregnant so why should his future be ruined attitude.)" LOL! Killjoy! J/K!
The article still was full of good intentions. I'm in TX. I'm very thankful that I have always had insurance, and a mother who was an RN in obstetrics and gynecology. Unfortunately, some ladies here are not so lucky. Bahamut.Baconwrap said: » 1) it fails to highlight that women take birth control for other reasons besides contraception. Most of the men I know are not ignorant of this fact. Caitsith.Zahrah said: » Most of the men I know are not ignorant of this fact. Tell that to Rush Limbaugh and Pope Benedict XVI. I'm talking about everyday people. That's where it begins.
Women can drive you crazy!! But if God made anything better than a women. He kept it for himself, lol.
whether the everyday people u encounter are aware of that is irrelevant. there are numerous men out there who arnt aware of the benefits associated with bc pills, besides contraception. the fact needs to be stated. women take it for OTHER reasons, in addition to contraception. end of discussion.
they may not be "everyday men" to you, but their public statements are influencing the thoughts and opinions of "everyday men." Who exactly made you the authority on women? Just wondering...
Caitsith.Zahrah said: » Who exactly made you the authority on women? Just wondering... God and the Pope :p lol jk Seriously, though, i meant no offense in that reply. I'm a firm supporter of women's rights and healthcare reform for women. I used to work for AIDS project Los Angeles, I still volunteer there. And let me tell you men ask some of the stupidest questions regarding the pill. I kid you not I had a couple come in and think the pill prevented STIs. So i think its important we educate the male community in particular of the effects of bc. There are many reasons besides birth control for the pill. Heavy flow, cramps , I even heard ache for women, lol.
Mood!! Lol!!!

I just can't think of too many men in my circles who don't know by now. LOL! Then again, their knowledge could just come with age and more experience with women. Do you work in the medical field? Caitsith.Zahrah said: » Do you work in the medical field? somewhat, I'm more "behind the scenes." I'm currently a doctoral student in bacterial genetics. However, I do have my Master's of Public Health. I volunteer at AIDS Project monthly, I just answer random questions have about STI's, HIV/AIDS, medications, preventive measures. Since we provide full health care services to no-income/low-income individuals I hear a wide range of questions. |
