Ouch, yeah stuff like that is going to be hard to let go. It's like when your character gets stolen by the siblings: Bloodbath/Sammiedan/Koda(old one, not new one) now seen as Irox/Usox. I'm still bitter, but getting over it. Just like we will all be once we start playing FFXIV.

They won't shut down XI. They can still make money off of people with XI, they probably just won't update it as much since their focus will be on XIV. I've put a lot of time into this character so I, personally, can't just toss it away and move on to a new MMORPG. Like I said in another thread, I probably won't be playing XIV unless my LS moves over too.
idk I see alot of people staying... I mean really do you play ffxi cause of the shiny graphics and such? What can they do that will really make this better enough that people will keep playing it after its not the new thing?

Yeah it'll be pretty hard, extra hard for me since a friend stole my shiz and I did a rollback and it ended up being 6 months rollback, so I got all the gear again that I lost, when I finish Mandau I'll be all WOOOOO BETTER THAN BEFORE! Selling or just quitting would be super fail on my part since I should of quit when the rollback happened.
