Actually I'm expanding my music library big time thanks to old state surplus spending on public services. They got tons of new and fairly mainstream music, movies and books.
I usually just grab a ton of CDs, go home, rip them, and return them. Copying DVDs is a little more tricky but until I get a new HD that'll have to be something for another time.
Recession prevents me from constantly buying new ***, but this certainly holds me over to a level I can be content with.

I'm aware of that, but I'm an audiophile so I rip CDs at full quality flac/ogg. Not many torrents come with such selection.
Plus instead of being a hermit sitting in your room eating junk food and drinking soda while your ***downloads, I actually rather go out and meet people and whatnot and have physical content in my hands rather than streaming data. Crazy, I know.
