For my birthday last year I started a new job the day before working 7am-4pm. My birthday fell on a tuesday so I worked my other job from 4pm-8pm. So after working 13 hours, I figured, well I can just have dinner with my girlfriend, at the time.
She decides to work overtime instead and didn't feel like telling me, so from 8pm to midnight I wait for her to text/call. I end up falling asleep for a good hour or two dressed and ready to go out.
She leaves a voicemail somewhere around 1-2am telling me she forgot about my birthday and she was out with some friends. She also never got me anything for my birthday because she decided to get another tattoo instead.

I can't stand superficial *** like that. It's one thing to be deceitful about it, but to be blunt and in your face about the fact that she ditched you on your birthday for her own selfish reasons. All I can think of is:
