Honestly when ToAU came out, FFXI shifted to a stupid, inconsiderate, free for all environment. Yeah it did, before ToAU the mentality was 'Oh ***a party is a party, who cares about brds? WOO EXP!' Now it's 'BRD OR GTFO' Pretty sad, I miss the old days.

I really miss Skill chains and MBs....you had to work as a team, *** BLM burn on slimes.

I don't know why, but we listened to her and ended up on colibris by the watchtower level sycned. lol I honestly hate birds, I like to use food, even if there's 5 minutes left in a pt I'll use a food. I personally liked sky exp though, I remember when I dinged 75 thief back before many had it leveled.. Ulli spawned and the party was all OHSHIIIII. Good times. ; ; <3 Ulli exp pts

I was leading a shell a couple years back on Asura...I had to TEACH the BLMs how to MB on the Hills Are Alive KSNM99. My soul almost *** died. Sad part is they still can't MB.

You guys listened because when a vagina speaks on FFXI, you listen. If you don't, it cries and no matter how wrong the vagina was, every guy within a four zone radius will immediately call you a douche.

I remember rarely getting pt on DRG, and I ended up duo/soloing from 45 to 75.. With like 7 PTs inbetween.... More acheiving than getting 75 in a week...

Morning all. I don't remember these times you speak of, but I absolutely love doing SC+MB in a party. Once you get a rhythm started in parties, it's actually pretty fun from my experiences. It ends up becoming more of a true group effort where everyone is paying attention to everyone else and working together.
Seems like the only time I see skillchains now are when SAMs use Sekkanoki or Meditate and create their own. Otherwise, the skillchains are mostly accidental creations. >.<
