I had a hard time with some ppl saying I was lieing about the amount I get per dyna solo, so, just to avoid any probs here is a pic of my parser of today. Don't usually try to prove ppl stuff I do, but meh, he just got to me.

it possible to hit that high in coins because after trying your way it work very well. got about 220+. i was bit delay and had to afk half of the time. the way i try before it was zerg the hell out of easy & proc but half the time they die to fast and i have to hold back way to much on them>< + i was /dnc that time. but ill say my way was mostly for someone starting out in dyn Q for the first time. once get used to it, if you geared up move to DC mobs.

bats there link like crazy at the start sometimes so to be safe i just pull out the deus pet for pulls. then pull out the activate pet.

Yea, I pull like that too when they too close to each other. But I can handle 3 links with hardly any probs.

i would also like to say, using one of the xp rings that gives 100% xp, (novinial, decennial, kupofried ring), a single run with jona gives over 20k for relic trials, without using cor roll.

Tried out my first Dynamis as PUP today. I normally use BLU as it's my main job and by far my best geared job, but I wanted to see if the complete lack of competition would give me an edge on PUP.

It went a bit rough, and I think I ended up with only 120ish currency. I think with some more practice I could do almost as well as I do on BLU, but I need to learn a lot. Is there a preferred zone for PUP? I did Valkurm because it's what I normally do so I am most familiar with it, doing EP funguars, hippogryphs and goobbue. The lack of spectral jig was kind of jarring, so I liked rotating through mobs that were so close that I didn't need to use oils or powders to get around.

Is using the RNG or BLM frame to pull and kill TEs advisable? I kind of just face pulled them because I didn't want to hassle with changing attachments and frames around, but doing this got me killed once.

Changing out your auto set up is a giant time sink, no matter how well you memorize the order of parts. ***sucks. I do the DC sheep > trees > funguars in valk, they are all right next to one another and all it takes is using hide to get between camps. They are that close. And hide always comes back up during the window times of each mob type.

mostly just use valoredge for TE. while he fighting the TE with full hp run to the next one. once iam done with the TE farming i change to whm since ill be on DC mobs. it dont take long when changing auto pet once you used to it. about 30 sec or less full parts. while iam auto running to the camp iam changing pet to save some time.

imo the others places like valk, bubur, kinda big place and can take lot time finding them TE if you going in solo without widescan.

Any frame can safely pull a TE using Deploy->Retrieve->Deactivate(in the event of a link). Just keep in mind that if the BLM frame one-shots it, you won't get credit.

My preferred zone is Qufim just for the ease of the TEs. I hate hate hate Valkurm solely cause of the hippo camp and their annoying hate reset and food dispel. The consumables (oils, powders) are not an issue at all cause their cost is minute compared to the currency you'll eventually bring in with enough practice.

How exactly does this work? I mean, I've used the trick before to have the puppet instant flash bulb and then deactivate, but with the WHM puppet it always tries to buff me before doing anything else.

Or do you mean basically carby pulling with my puppet? This is kind of what I tried to do, but the range on deploy is short so it was kind of a pain.

And I don't mind the cost of oils and powders, I'm just really used to one shotting TEs with heavy strike and then immediately using spectral jig and being on my merry way.

It's identical to a carby pull. It will eventually cast an offensive spell and once it has aggro, Retrieve. If the TE brings friends with it, pull back to a spot out of their spawn range, Deactive, engage the TE (if you haven't already), and Deus Ex. The links should despawn and all is well. It's practically risk-free TE pulling and you should die very rarely while doing it.

Spectral Jig is nice, but competition-free currency farming is even nicer!

I just did PUP/THF in Dyna last night for first time (don't have thf belt), pulled in 147 coins with 1 death. I was in Bub doing Scorps, mandies/rabbits, and crawlers.

Was wondering if I should shoulder tackle to try and proc or just flat out V.Smite everything and kill, kill, kill.

Generally what I was doing was using shoulder tackle and deployed auto on 1 mob to use flash and strobe, when the mob got down to 10% I'd disengage and move on to the next, kept auto deployed on first and started tping/shoulder tackling the next.

Also, any must have attachments to use? I was using flashbulb and strobe for procs. I was using whm frame with Mana Tank II and econmizer and never had an issue with MP.

I got all attachments, just wasn't sure if there was anything else worth while to use to really help out. Just after seeing people hit 200+ in numbers for coins, I just wanna see where can I better myself.

For max coins seems pulling and tanking multiple mobs is the way to go and using the auto on 1 and you on another using spinning fist and when u or the auto proc it then kill the proc one and repeat.

Make sure you have signet and start with 2 and build up. Also make sure u have an evasion set or pdt set to use since ur tanking basically for those oh ***moments. Against ep should have no issue DC can be a handful tho.. if unluckly

@ tickmeoff

I get 190-200+ in qufim. I use the rng frame for te and then use ve frame on tiger/raptors, kraken or rocs by tower/wa proc beast men during byne, weapons. All on ep mobs by tower. I usually have a horrid proc rate on first 3 mobs then goes smoothly after with the occasional no proc kills. Pummel <> string shredder = darkness skill chain. Used to farm with whm frame but having only 2-3 auto proves on non dispelable mobs sux. So with ve frame I get shield bash, provoke, flashbulb, auto ws, (dispel), my ws I usually wait for voke ten flash proc sc dead then move to next ad I go pup/thf

Do you just leave the auto on it or do you try and still pull him to a safer area? Are there specific attachments you need to use? I tried just sicing him on the TE but if i got more than one link or so he would usually die pretty fast.

Also how good of gear would one need to be able to do DC efficiently? I currently have brawny and eveasion magian h2h for weapons. My armor is mostly a scattering of +1/+2s from abyssea.

I don't do my TEs like this, because I find like you do that Cocoa dies too fast if he gets a link. If you use the auto to pull on DCs and get a link, he'll likely die before he kills the TE. Myself, I pull using the WHM auto and a light maneuver (for insta-flash). But I duo Dynamis-Qufim 90% of the time with my wife on PUP, so I don't fret so much about running to the next TE. It generally takes the two of us about 5 minutes to grab the time extensions in Qufim.

You'll want to stick to easy prey. There's not much reason not to, unless your server unlike mine has other PUPs during your time slot. One decent PUP is fine with one easy prey camp. BTW, Evasion H2H are not worth it for PUP in Dynamis. Brawny are fine though, or Blutkrallen. Our evasion is pretty high, probably close to cap for easy prey.

There have been reports of Heat Capacitor proccing as well. I'll be attempting to test that out tonight for a more definitive answer, so unless someone else has more input take that with a grain of salt.
did this work / does it still work? i think only attacks which target the mob could stagger mobs, like flash, voke?

Pretty positive Heat Capacitor, Shock Absorber, Replicator, etc. wouldn't work since they self target on the puppet. Never actually tried it myself, so I can't say for sure though.

it's fun...but you gotta keep an eye on proc's and dmg a lot more than before cause you overkill the hell out of mobs with these new pieces.

Eeew, Dynamis.

On a more constructive note, no point in holding mobs for procs when you can mow em down so easily and when there's rarely any competition for mobs. Could also do DCs more efficiently now if killing unprocced mobs bothers you.

Nah that's what I do. If something isn't staggered, I just kill it and move to the next.

When I farmed my relic on pup, I avoided the funguar time period like the plague (if you're referring to the DC rotation in Valkurm). I would just do near by beastmen during those timeframes. With alternator and/or rigor's now though, the funguars should be a joke.

I would think now with the alternator a puppet could tank and keep hate easy enough without you ever getting hit by that crap. The evasion alone is pretty insane and damage should be out of this world.

Someone was stating in another post with the alternator even the whm frame was a bad ***. Time to setup and see if a dd whm puppet tank can work tonight lol. I test in adoulin on the VT+ mobs if it can handle them dc mobs should be 2 weak..
