Maybe the Frenchmen will get along with our Germans and zany Englishmen. Ironically, no one ever mentions this of our server, but we used to have a ton of culturally diverse people, ranging in German, Italian, Middle Eastern, Australian, African (I'm one of the last!), Chinese (they merged with the JP population), Swedish and on.
Now it's mostly like this: Japanese > English (and Canadian) > British > German > Mexican

FinalChapter on Gilgamesh currently mostly just does Walk of Echoes and Abyssea since Sea, Sky, Einherjar, Bahamut, Treasures all pretty much got trashed with newer content. It does not camp HNM.
The biggest issues on Gilgamesh I would say is the formation of hundreds of duo groups working on Empyrean (typically katana/sword or glavoid) and just pure competition on the NM's with inefficient killing speed, but a mage with a ninja/dancer EVA trials/gear can pretty much outlast anything. If they can't they just xp *** in a page alliance and brew it.

Honestly, he's not that bad. Buddy of mine who feels the same about our french players as most of the others on the server was shocked to find out Hyso was french because of how decent a player he is, both in skill and attitude. Kind of reminds me of how Spike was "fluid like water" in Cowboy Bebop.

I found out recently that alot of the french are actualy not so bad! Of course there is still Thedreamer et all!
