HEY ... my pc has actually been good to me, still need a few pieces to perfect it but eh ... I would love to try water cooling but ... nah *** that ... don't have time for it. Onizukasobadass
give it time buddy, give it time.
ticktick boom! Maybe someone who's more computer savvy can help me with this. Just recently changed from playing xiv in full screen to borderless window mode to make use of a screenshot program I use. However now that I've switched it over my game needs twice the fps to play not choppy on my tv. I had the game capped at 60fps before since its only a 60hz tv.
It also only does this on xiv and not other games that I've swapped to borderless. Dunno if its maybe just a setting got jumbled or what. :/ Yep, winter's the best. In AZ, winter means being outside is bearable for a change.

Gaming computer capable of running modern games (including necessary peripherals): $600 (for the very bare minimum; good luck getting it to run like buttah) and up
PS3: $300 edit: Also, I can do multiplayer without Plystation Plus for free! Honestly, my last computer could play games at least at PS3 level and I only put like $400 in it.
It's being used as a server right now, until I can get another set that has the capability of more ram. Actually, you could build console-killer level PCs for about $400. $600+ if you want to absolutely slaughter them. If you need any further convincing. SHOOT FOR THE STARS MAGNUS
Most of my time will be used creating lesson plans or grading. I won't really have the time to brush up on computer builds 101. With the PS3, I can just veg out and just play it for a while, and that's really all I want out of it.
Mag, my only recommendation for you: is to use an anti-static strap since you're in AZ, and static is more prone in dry climates.
I mean there's ways to be in a case and not have to worry with a strap, but I digress. |
