up until yesterday I have never had an atma but have always wanted one. So I spent about 5 hours at work creating my spreadsheet of everything I wanted to accomplish in Abyssea: atma, drops, seals, NM', spawn locations etc.

So yesterday afternoon after leaving work early, we were gearing up to go to the Jazz vs. Kings game and I have about 1 hour tops to play real quick. I was just planning on doing some crafting and other random stuff.

Just to see the response I would get I did a shout in WG of all my top NM's I wanted to kill - Chukwa, Eccentric Eve, Titlaucan, and others, to see if anyone wanted to team up.

Got a response from a Paladin - "What do you want from Chuckwa". I said I wanted the Siege Bow for my RNG. "Well i'm looking for the pld piece, want to go see if we can duo it?"

Well I only had 40 minutes so I told him, what the hell, lets go see if he's up.

We both warped out to Tahrongi and ran out to where Chukwa spawns. My run was much longer because the closest flux I had was #2. Well we got there and there were already 3 others fighting Chukwa. I sent one of them a tell to ask if I could perhaps offer gil for the Siege bow drop. He didn't respond but a few seconds later I got a message "Such and such wants to form an alliance". I accepted.

I wish I remember his name, but he basically said they were just there for the atma, and my friend and I could have whatever drops. SCORE. After kiting Chukwa round and me DD'ing on Ranger, he finally went down. Drops? Atma of the Adamantoise pluse Siege Bow!!! MINE! To cap off the perfect night, the Jazz beat the Kings.

First atma I got was Stout Arm! Though it was like 2 weeks after the synthetic atmas and purchasable lunar abyssite came out so I was kinda late. >.>

if you dont count the synthetic atmas, it was Atma of the Baying Moon, really didnt knew back then what it does, just thought "oh hey cool, an Atma!!!" lol.
