The Code Geass mini movie series, Boukoku no Akito, is off to an awesome start. I almost forgot how good Code Geass was, can't wait for the next episode.
Guilty crown was pretty good, if nobody has seen it yet :o
I have to also agree sword art online is great. I thought it would just be another .hack like show but the story is a lot better. Plus the latest episode had me on the edge of my seat so much that I watched it 3 times. I never do that
I don't know if it was mentioned, but Berserk is fkin fantastic. I need to buy the mangas, but theres like 35 of em at 30 dollars a pop.

It's really not. Hachigen is perhaps the best character in the entire series, idgaf what everyone else thinks!
On the other hand, I've really enjoyed (and am still enjoying) Casshern Sins, Deadman Wonderland, Samurai 7 and Eureka 7. I've also gotta put this Ghost in the Shell: SAC DVD set to use sometime...

I'm kind of ashamed to admit that after being an avid manga/anime fan for over 15 years, I've only started watching GTO now.

Ixion Saga DT is worth checking out only 10 eps so far but it's not bad

highly recomend Fate Zero.
i recommend if you haven't already, here are 3 good animes from the last few seasons:
Steins;gate - (amazing epic mind ***, but amazing nonetheless, easily in my top5 hint; Time Travel)
Accel world - (recently learned this is from the same person who did SAO, it's really good, hoping for a second season soon.)
Guilty Crown - Really good action/drama anime, some good music in it as well, worth the watch (I might watch this one again tbh lol)

Not sure if anyone suggested this already but Puella Magi Madoka Magica is an awesome anime which one of the character was named #1 most hated anime person... as girly as it looks it's very... very dark and worthwhile.

Shinsekai Yori is really good yet confusing enough to get lost but If you pay attention you will know what's going on.. tho also take note it has a light Shounen AI theme but it's nothing huge to make it a bad anime in anyway... Give it a chance and you will be hooked!

I saw a couple of episodes of berserk and while it was great I just opted out to read the manga since it continues.The manga is a bit more graphic just so damn slow to publish but after so many years following you kind of get used to the wait.

The series only covers a certain arc of the manga, so if you want more story then read it but it is a very good story from what is covered in the anime and holds up on it's own.
