Yeah I hadn't tested Thunder 2, just did now... I can confirm what Ichrius just said. (I'll put that in the OP as well... )

Is store tp a factor in this?

Not very exciting <.<
I mean, I suppose this is better than zero TP for doing dmg with spells...but yeah...
Small TP returns are small.

I tested on EP lesser colibris outside WG, like it says in the OP.
I also tested 1 Drain1 in East Rounfaure {S}, on a too weak rabbit.
I got 1 TP return on that Drain too.

292 Skill I got Herc. Slash
297 Scythe, nothing.
Took off Prudence Torque, WS went away.
LS member put on Justice Torque, got the Scythe WS.
Hoping it's just varying skill levels, and not torque related.
EDIT: 270dmg H.Slash -_-; ...scythe is roughly the same.

Well I didn't think it did but to clear any doubt...
I unloaded spellcast so I would stop casting in my dark magic set (320 skill), and then I just casted in TP gear for the StoreTP,Rajas ring, Brutal earring, and I also put in chivalrous chain and askar body too for more StoreTP.
Results: The same TP returns, just like when I casted with full dark magic skill set.
StoreTP doesn't appear to have any effect on the TP returns of spells.
Edit:
That testing of casting the spells with StoreTP gear... I did it as /nin, and like I said...there was no difference between casting with my full dark magic set (320 skill) and casting with STP gear as /nin anyway.
However, I've seen some people report on KI and BG that StoreTP appears to affect the TP returns slightly, with testing done as /sam. (I did my testing as /nin) So I suppose STP may have a slight affect; however, the difference in TP was just about 1 TP higher with /sam than with /nin. And it appears to vary sometimes, so I'm not 100% sure, but yeah...

I can confirm this too.
Equipped my Great Sword(with my Idle set which has parade gorget etc), checked WS menu and no new WSs.
Put in my Prudence torque, then checked WS menu..and Herculian Slash GS WS was there.
I tested it once on a Lesser colibri and Herculian Slash did 222 damage.... <.<
Edit:
Also, I had 292 GS skill with Prudence Torque on (I got max scythe and max GS merits too.)
So yeah, I guess you get Herculian slash somewhere between 286-292 skill. My guess is that you probably get it at 290 or 292 skill. I got it at 292 by equipping prudence torque anyway.

Got same results on greater colibri at 76. I'm pretty sure (or hopelessly optimistic) they will fix this in one of the 9000+ emergency maintenances incoming. I was kind of pleased to see that the Empyrean weapons were in fact Magian weapons (called it) and that I was 2 trials away from Caladbolg. I honestly can't decide if i should bother or go the easier route for the 466 delay one as those 50 items will undoubtedly be a *** to get.

I got 4tp for casting Fire2. Did this 4 times, then on the 5th time, it gave me 2 tp. Is the variance simply random?

Does Infernal Scythe open darkness for cross reaper? Or light for insurgency?

That's what I'm wondering. I'm wondering about the skillchain elements of all the new weapon skills. Even if they're not the most powerful(quite the opposite from what I hear.)if they have skillchain elements that each job didn't have before, they'll have a place in my opinion.

Ramuh.Rowland said: I'm not a drk or anything but just gonna throw this out there. Try testing the TP return on something that isn't resistant to magic with Occult Acumen. Why not try nuking at pudding camp? You'll see the max amount of TP you can get and there is a zone behind you so you don't have to finish off the mob/die. This is a good thought...I don't play drk much anymore and I certainly don't have a Dark Magic set but maybe Ill run out and Nuke a Pudding tonight.

So Infernal Scythe seems to be MAB/INT and it sucks ***. Testing it on dolls in sky and it did 317 consistently. Boosted damage with absorb-INT by about 10 points and Arcane Circle stacks with it of course.
