Do You Keep Your Shoes In Bank Or Locker?

Since now me and many others have Inventory crises with all the new rare/ex items and jobs leveled, I was hoping if everyone can share how they keep their /bank /locker /storage , maybe we can learn a better way to keep it organized.

For me I keep;

Mog safe: Body/hands/heads/legs/feet/neck.

Locker: weapons/grips/rings/earrings.

Storage: Waist/Back/all not used items.

Also what's the best furnishing for Storage+ space, from the new items.

locker/safe= gear for jobs I'm on everyday

storage= random low level r/ex crap, gear for jobs I don't use so much

I keep my depending on job currently. With MNK and NIN as my mains I keep the majority of equipment that I utilized on both of them in satchel. Items I only use on NIN I keep in my Locker for easy access. Low level jobs I keep in my Safe for quick exchange as lower level jobs need less complex equipment changes. The items I want to store but won't use or use the least for in my Storage, since you can only use storage from your hometown MH.

That is my organization.

But upon that I organize my mules based on role "mage" "dd" "tank" to help me remember the armor they might store.

Safe/Locker: Items for jobs I use frequently.
Storage: R/Ex items I rarely or never use but can't seem to part with.
Satchel: Items that are useful on most/all jobs or that I don't want to accidentally forget when I need (like shihei bags).

The rest I mule to a character that also has full house upgrades. :3

I keep DNC gear in Locker, BLM and NIN gear in Mog Safe, and RDM gear in my Satchel.. When multiple jobs use the same equipment (for instance if I melee with RDM/NIN it uses a lot of the same gear my DNC does) I just pick which jobs uses it the most and keep the shared gear with that job's gear.

I use Mog Safe sort of a permanant accessible storage (I don't really mess with the stuff in there much, but don't wanna have to go all the way back to my hometown to get my crap out if i need it) My Locker is where I keep everything that's in constant transition (keep DNC gear there cuz you'll almost always see me on DNC, if I'm not on DNC, I'm on RDM) Such as AH-able stuff, ingredients for cooking, etc.. Keep RDM gear in my satchel, because the only time it really comes out, is when it's needed pretty quick, so I just dump everything in locker and pull my gear on my satchel otw to wherever. I also keep a variety foods to cover just about everything in there as well (and random things like powders/oils/nin tools/potions etc)

EDIT: Oh yeah, in storage I just keep random ***I never mess with, don't want to throw away, and can't store.. Relic Weapons, AF, gear that I used at one point but not anymore (Gaudy Harness, Star Necklace etc)

Satchel/Inventory : Jobs I play, food, Ninja Tools, EXP Rings, etc. Items of daily use.

Locker : Lowbie equips, random R/E items.

Storage : AF/Retired Relic that isn't complete, Nyzul Weapons.

Safe : Furnishings.

Where ever it fits.

i keep my gears in "sets" to make moving and switching jobs faster and remove the need to look through the whole list of gear every time i swap. So for example:

pld set(contains all stuff only pld uses like af/relic/hydra)
ares set (the ares set armor)
denalit set(only contains the hand and feet as two jobs use this it warrants its own set)
generic dmg reduction set(stuff like jelly ring, shadow mantle, etc)
and son on..

Basically i use like a modular set up which is magnificent if you are like me and hate taking so long switching jobs due to having to find every item across 10 jobs worth of junk. When your set on what job to go just find the set i want and spam click as it is all neatly ordered then move on to the next set you need and repeat, all while putting back sets you do not need. This method might cause one or two items you do not need to be taken out sometimes(depending on overlapping jobs etc) but i can safely say i can find everything at a glance and ready fast!

As for most storage i think mannequins were boosted to being the best ? tho i am unsure

Also you can always use the dbox to send mats/seldom used gear such as lowbie gear etc

I'm like most people here, gear for jobs I use in safe/locker, gear I rarely (or never) use in storage, and items of daily use in satchel - food, meds, ammo, shihei, exp rings, warp items, powder boots etc. Atm I'm 80/80, 79/80, 80/80, 69/80 and inventory is 73/80... -.-

Can't wait to get rid of the bonanza marbles.

I honestly just keep my crap where-ever it fits lol.

Kind of like real life, I'm not an organised person lol.

I keep gear for WHM, SCH, PUP, DRK, and BLU on Silv.

Then I have a mule for miscellaneous weapons.

Another mule for miscellaneous armor.

Another mule for miscellaneous mage/PLD weapons and armor.

Yet another mule for stuff that doesn't fit into any of the above 4 categories.

And, yes, I'm a packrat in RL, too. >,>

Safe: equip for RDM and WHM
Storage: random rare/ex things
Locker: MNK, PUP and SMN equip
Satchel: BLM equip, EVA equip, exp and warp rings, food

Safe\locker: Gear from the jobs I use (DRK BLM RDM COR), just randomly put in.

Storage: Equipment rarely used(Rare\ex crap and low-level stuff), and marbles.

Satchel: Ninjatools, ammo, limbus-chips, af+1 items(because of full storage), warp items, rr items, exp-items, cor-cards, medicines, signet staff and everything related to this <_>
Got a few spare slots in it for drops.

I am glad I am not the only OCD FF player out there.

Mog Safe=White Mage and Misc. Mage Gear I do not constantly access. Formerly held SAM gear, but as of yesterday SAM is retired and hopefully never to see light of day again.
Storage= R/E, Event, AF I never use, but cannot store because I use some it; and Crystals/Crafting Supplies I only access at home
Mog Locker=Current job I am leveling for whatever reason and farming items I am building stacks of.
Mog Satchel=Red Mage gear since that is my one true love and anything I might need in the field that is not on me, ie Oils/Powders, flowers for lyco warps, and Choco Tickets I always forget I have.
Bag=Whatever job I am on(usually RDM), Echo Drops, B/K-Seal place holder stacks, and the couple of signed items I keep in my bazaar.

I have five mules sorted by job type or activity type; Sales, Mage, Western DD, Eastern DD, and Crafting Supplies.

I keep everything thing sorted and mule/sell items for currently leveling jobs once every 5 levels or 5 item/gear changes.

Mog Safe - Crystals/Crafting Supplies/Consumables

Mog Locker - Job Equipment

Storage - Equipment I rarely use but can't get a claim slip for.

Inventory - equip I need for a given situation, any necessary tools/meds, BS/KS if exping

Satchel - weapons/staves, grips, excess gear (if on BLU, FUUUUUUUUU inventory limitations), misc food/meds/tools/junk (ABC's and such)

Safe/Storage - gear for 75s + any job I'm actively leveling to 75

Locker - subjob leveling gear, marbles, AF+1 mats, abjurations, Nyzul Weapons

I use a Panetiere plus some other junk for my storage right now. Panetiere + 6 drawer almirah will get you exactly 80 storage slots if you don't care/don't have the inventory space for prettying up your Moghouse.

Inventory: Stuff for the job I'm on.

Mog Locker: Weapons, Consumables, Neck and Waist.

Mog Safe: Armor, Earrings, Rings and Back.

Storage: Sentimental items and pop items.

Safe: Crystals and food ingredients.
Storage: random crap.
Locker: Gear.
Satchel: Food/Meds/Tools.

Mog safe: Weapons and armor for my 75 jobs.

Locker: rings, earrings, belts, and other accessories for my 75 jobs, as well as crafting items that I plan to use soon and armor that won't fit into my safe.

Storage: r/e things that I cannot use (yet) and cannot send to my mules. (relic gear obtained in dyna for jobs I don't have 75 yet, tidbits for upgrading armor to af +1 that I obtained in limbus, etc.) Also gear that I might use someday but don't currently use, like bibiki seashell.

Satchel: Things I don't want to carry around, but do want available if I need them on the fly. Echo drops, silent oil, prism powder, food for various jobs, warp cudgel, etc.



I also have 2 mules, Amarantha and Magnoliia. Rantha holds my low-level gear for jobs I am not finished leveling but don't pull out on an everyday basis. Maggie holds all the crafting gear that I don't plan to use immediately but do plan to use eventually, mostly random lumber.


I also don't hold gear that I don't want to use. When I got my hunter's bracers +1, since I couldn't store hunter set anymore and didn't plan to upgrade any of the rest of it, I tossed the rest of it. When I upgraded to wizard's hat +1, I tossed wizard boots. I hope to upgrade the other pieces, but no sense holding the boots when I don't want to upgrade them and can't store them.

Oh, if you have blm and use obis, it's really convenient to put them in your satchel, too. When the day comes up that you can use your obi on, take it out of your satchel and use it. When the day ends, put it back in.

I keep food/tools/etc in satchel. gear i need on me. everything else goes in wherever it can

Mines very out of any sort of order.

Stuff I cant store at an npc, low lvl gear for low lvl jobs I occassionally lvl and other nonimportant rare/ex but dont wish to drop items go in storage.

Locker, satchel, inventory and safe are full of out of order gear for various jobs and crystals and beastman/kindred seals and nonfinished stacks of goods.

I try to keep perishables like foods, meds, shihei and rr earrings/scrolls and warp sticks in my satchel. As well as more random pieces of gears.

Im pure chaos.

Safe: DRG, BLU, PUP gear
Storage: Low level gear, R/E stuff, I don't use, AF+1 materials, etc.
Locker: RNG, NIN, and leftover WAR gear (the rest of the stuff I grab from drg)
Self: Current needed gear, Shihei/toolbags, ways to get around (tav ring, warp cudgel, etc)...
