Swift belt, rajas, brutal ect all the staples used on all DDs are always in my main inventory or my satchel because I use them the most, along with powders/oils/food variations.

my Safe has drg/war/thf in it, I never auto sort that way it takes 10 secs to swap gear out from the job I need. THF at the bottom with TH4 cause I use it for sky mostly.

Locker is the same thing but with bst/sam/mnk/rdm/blm gear.

Storage is for rare junk I NEVER use or relic for jobs not 75.

Satchel has pld/blu/drk gear as I use them the most, or randomly I should say. As well as the stuff previously mentioned above.

My gear isn't organized persay.... i've just made an odd custom system of getting them fast as hell from where I need them. You can't help other ppl organize their ***tbh, you have to make ur own custom system that works for you. Tbh, I doubt anyone will even understand how my personal one works, cause I said blm gear goes with 6 other jobs and blm alone takes 60 slots... to clearly they don't all fit in one slot. It's hard to explain where I put my ***.

Since my homepoint stays in Port Bastok due to it having close access to the MH/OP NPC, AU Warp and a Maw I don't usually have an issue putting something in storage but usually I set it out with my Safe/Locker containing anything i'm more likely to use regularly and I never sort them so that my gear sits at the bottom, my storage is mainly for random R/Ex stuff and gear for jobs I don't use often but I do put important stuff in there should the others be full. I'll also put gear for a job I think I won't use for a few days in the storage when needed.

Damn, that's nifty... I assume it doesn't work if there are more than 80 pieces of gear in the relevant Spellcast though?

EDIT: nvm, you don't use Spellcast. Doesn't look like there's an option to automatically satchel gear though.

Mine's pretty out of order. I usually just keep job specific gear for each one of my jobs together in either mh, locker, or satchel and keep random low level or r/ex gear and whatever else in storage. I keep my hp right outside my mh in windy though so at least storage is still easily accessible.

I just dump everything into whatever has enough space rotating between Safe and Locker to keep everything grouped. I never sort my Locker or Safe.

Storage is crap I don't plan on using more than once in a blue moon, Satchel has alot of stuff that's just handy to have on hand [keys, oils, powders, food, etc] and the overflow from my regular inventory.

You could create a simple Spellcast that only listed your gear for each job. It's pretty clear about requiring Spellcast, so that's what comes to mind for what he may be doing.

Mog Locker: DRG/WAR/COR/DNC Specfic Gear

Storage: Random pieces I don't use much or at all but haven't throw away, DRK and SAM piecs since I don't play those jobs, non-upgraded salvage pieces, BB items.

Satchel: Staves, grips, food, cor cards, meds, misc crossover pieces that don't fit in safe/locker, incomplete Magian weapons, signing crystals, bonanza marbles, af upgrade pieces, tranportation items (nexus cape, cudgels, tav and olduum rings, etc.)

Delivery Box: Crafting mats, misc gear pieces, crystals, Teleport-Whereever rings, Powder boots, extra cards and nin tools.

Self: Whatever gear I'm currently using for whatever job I'm on... That will usually fill 70 spots or so, depending on the job. Also, the Harpoon in my bazaar.

Safe- food, warpsticks, ninja tools, furniture (pots and tables) and somehow that takes me to like 77/80.
Storage - unused/rarely used rare/ex armor and weapons
locker - even less frequently used items
Mule 1 - random items, crystals, medicines.
Mule 2 - random armor for other jobs and/or level synch.
Mule 3 - crafting items

Also, I decided that from now on, I am using sets of armor for lower level jobs and level synch. Whether or not they are storable, it's easy to track entire sets. (Bonus when the set is storable.) Even though, for example, my mid-30's level thief armor set isn't ideal, it still very easily beats synching from level 70 gear down.

Sadly, I haven't sold/given away/gotten rid of any armor in many months... I am afraid for the future.
