Yea, farming is smooth sailing atm; most of the time, I am the only person in an abyssea zone. 10,000 Glavoid shells.
Speaking of stuff sucking I can't even install the game from the official website download. They don't want my money !

I was going to but SE makes it very annoying to come back. It's as if they don't want people to come back. I'm having trouble with the .exe file they have on their site for people coming back. When I go to extract the files it says the file can't be found.

Step 3 is where it is messing up on the list. It isn't extracting the files for some reason. 3. Wait for the installation setup files to be temporarily extracted to your hard drive. I have the physical copy of the game I should look for it. Cause this isn't working

I have the .exe to install the ultimate seekers from amazon, not sure if that would require my pass to access, but i can send to you if you want (not sure if it will work though). Even if I do get it installed I'm worried that my slower internet will make playing unbearable.
Yea but what is your speed on your internet mine is like painfully slow.

Did a monitoring of it the other day. I was expecting something around 100-200KB/s, but to my surprise the speed required of FFXI is measure in bytes per second. 600-700 bytes per second is average.
No USA actually...DSL technology is terrible.
If I wasn't in a contract I'd switch back to cable internet.
I had like 20 MB so it is 20 times slower...which means watching "educational videos" means constant buffering. |
