New version update march/2015
For now the answer to anything "difficult" is a simple "throw more GEOs at it". They demolish almost any dangerous stat a mob could have into soft pillows.
Empy reforge might get to me to come back and play.
*** me im gonna be wearing ugly *** blu emp armor again ...

Relic Head, Gendewithe body, and Crimson Cuisses(when moving). Empyrean head for RDM looks too "boxy". :/ Bismarck.Snprphnx said: » Valefor.Sehachan said: » palladin9479 said: » The hardest part was the BRD's and CORs learning how to quickly swap parties mid fight for rebuffs and autoexec made that super easy I think you fail to realize how many people who choose to play a support job can't manage to make a proper macro. I can't tell you how many times I sent a party invite to a brd or cor and it take them so long to hit Accept, that I need to re-invite. As a forever brd (was stupid enough to make 4 song) I'm on the opposite end of this conundrum. I've waited up to 3 minutes, 46 seconds~ for an invite, while spamming "Invite me" in pt chat. Nothing beats that. I was sad when I had to retire that body. Hmmm, that's and idea, gogo 119 Salvage gear. Make it happen, SE!!! To each their own I love scarlet

As long as it's the same weapon type, even if you swap it out the style lock will not go away. We are planning to make it so only the lock is removed for weapons when you change the weapon type. I can't tell you how many times I sent a party invite to a brd or cor and it take them so long to hit Accept, that I need to re-invite. No sh!t right. 80% of the "difficulty" of this game is getting the right support, the other 20% of people knowing how to use equipment swaps and gearing appropriately. Practically everything in this game boils down to monster stat X vs player stat Y, if X is greater then Y, then it's "hard", if X is less then Y, then it's "easy". Incursion 140+ is just throwing Idris GEO's and super BRDs at melee's to buff their stats high enough to beat the monster stats while stunning dangerous TP moves. I play FFXI for fun and to relax, if I want challenge there are hordes of other games (dark souls anyone) that offer FAR superior "challenge". Games like Valis Story, Might and Magic X, or hell Legend of Grimrock part I and II. Games that require you to solve puzzles, think outside typical stat X vs Y and to apply adjustable difficulty in how you replay the game by changing the characters you bring along. Load up an emulator and play Seiken Densetsu III (Secret of Mana II) and play with the thief or wolf instead of the swordsman or valkyrie. It's also why I really enjoy this new skirmish, it actually introduced strategic play where I'm not killing the target directly. Hell the enemy monsters would tear apart even a super invincible PLD. And while it still has some stat X vs Y, strategy is far more important to reward acquisition then having BRD's, CORs and GEO's give me 1300+ accuracy, 2000+ attack and 80% haste. Seriously, I don't know why people argue "difficulty" now. A GEO can practically make you immune to debuffs and dangerous unstunable TP moves, an Indris GEO makes you god. 90% attack buff along with whatever the else you might want thrown in... Wordspoken said: » Ragnarok.Fasaga said: » They should continue to just add scaling content levels. Most of the people in my linkshell are the highest end players. We were all happy about how difficult iLvl 140+ incursion was. The only problem was, rewards need to scale with the difficulty or there's no point in doing it. What they really want is to make the game slightly "hard" for them but impossible for "everyone else". They want some rewards from this content that makes them so much better then everyone else that they can gloat and feel superior. Most of the people who take this position invest their ego and self esteem in how special / powerful / highly regarded their character is. Yes that is how pathetic they are in real life, that their character's status in a fictional universe takes on a higher value then real life accomplishments. They need this validation or they feel empty and discontent, it's impossible for them to just enjoy the game purely for the entertainment it brings. Slaughtering 1000 monsters is a fun way to relieve stress, as long as it doesn't generate more stress in the process. Casuals or even semi-hardcore players who happen to have real lives don't want even more stress in their lives. I have things to do, business deals to work around, projects to finish, technical documents to write, boss's to manage and deal with. I worry enough about keeping our large multi-million USD contract customers happy, why the hell would I want more stress in my life? If the game became stressful I would just drop it, as would the vast majority of players, and fill that vacuum with some other entertainment activity to the detriment of SquareEnix's profit margins and stock price. Finally, Empyrian upgrades!
Now there's 2 things I'm curious about. 1. Will the millions I've thrown into my new Skirminsh sets be utterly wasted next update? 2. Have I been hoarding Belladonna Sap for nothing? I wish they would update the accessory capes too, so all the idiots buying crystals/spamming incursion for lolaugments get railed. I'm not going to lie. I'm just about 'finished' with my Helios set after spending millions on augment efforts.
If Caller's+3 (or whatever SE calls Empy Reforged for Summoner) were to surpass Helios after only 1 MONTH, I'd be pretty livid. Offline

EDIT: Nevermind, you're not that far behind based on when you cancelled. Some pieces will be replaced for some uses. There's a slim to 0 chance even a fraction of Alluvion Yorcia gear will be replaced because the augments are so unique, numerous that there's no way Empy reforge could cover it all. Not like they'll add BP Damage+ and Pet:MAB to each piece... Offline

Well according to your guildworks, bluegartr, and offical forums:
http://www.bluegartr.com/threads/123482-Salvage-Bans-v-2.0/page11 Not being rude tiger, but you posted it yourself on your own guildworks page. Sure you can get unbanned, but w/e. I was trolling my ls. Yes, you can get unbanned, in 72 hours. I got a temp ban.
also, you have inferior bg settings I can't even see the post you were talking to (50 post per page masterrace) Cerberus.Avalon said: » Nevermind, you're not that far behind based on when you cancelled. |
