Welp at least the geomancer empyrean gear looks cool. No wonder they didn't show their sketches of the rune fencer empyrean back when adoulin was first released. I would be ashamed of it too.

I guess I'm not gonna be disappointed Ramyrez. It's kinda cool to know that I predicted what GEO empy was gonna look like 2 years ago from that famitsu SoA artwork scan. Kinda sad that it took that long for it to actually come out though.

While I'm not a Geomancer myself, I am kinda pleased that they made this look more similar to the Geomancer garb from previous FF installments:

I like the design of Geomancer Empyrean. Rune Fencer's though...? Ugh, that looks terrible.

Really can't pass judgement until we see it on every race. Some armor sets and some races just dont mix.

RUN wins loses for having 2 out of 3 of the ugliest JSE.

Both looks pretty cool, can't wait to see the rest. RUN helmet looks odd, at least in the setting of FFXI, but still the set looks very detailed and unique. Regardless, I am happy to see some new models finally. They could have just given them a new name and been done with it.

I was very excited when the AF3 sets were released. They looked so unique for the most part. It seems they are following that trend with their reforged versions.

PUP Empy is ugly as all hell. They better make it worth dragging out of storage. The + auto skills should prove to be very useful. Moar Pupdates!

Objective matter, personal preferences etc. I know, but some comments make me feel like people would rather have half naked armors from Korean MMOs or huge spikes and flames on shoulders and all that exaggerated crap from Western MMOs...

I just think the armor design is pretty bad. Not necessarily the most important aspect I know. But they have to have better armor designs than that...(talking about the RUN)

Personally what dislike the most is the run coat color thats exactly the same as the thundaraut set.

And thurandaut set is the basic of the basic adoulin set so it implies the gimp idea for run.

Geo for mithra is kinda of let down for dropping the short shorts. It was one of the sexiest mithras leg pieces, now we have a eskimo mithra.

Its funny though the ear cover, thats almost like a mog dressing of batman.

They are both complete departures from their original sets. In the case of GEO I guess a lot of people will be happy, but RUN's gear looks like ***. The legs and feet don't even match the body/hands (imo) and the helmet doesn't match any of it.

That the salmon-colored relic gear is world's better than this is all you really need to know in order to gauge how *** awful it is.

A black/blue/white/red version of the existing RUN gear with some tasteful changes for flair* would have been far, far superior.

Also, that huge run coat will cover all my zoar subligar, thats no cool.

Why are people shitting themselves over RUN's look?
Y'all act like we haven't known about this before now?
The taru used this set in the fake!mythic BCNM, and we've seen it since then.... Waaaaaaaaaay back when Ergon weapons were added.
I was in the camp that it was RUN's since it followed the MO of PLD's AF3. Eg: more heavy armor. (Or in this case more light heavy armor)
It's very swiss guardy... But less garish. (Which is more than covered by Gourney sets.)

Then again... Can't say I'm all that surprised given how many boys flipped their shits over Futhark being "pink"... (It's not. It's salmon.)
A class that wears a tiara, hooker boots, and coat dresses... Carries that giant sword...

There will certainly be a very high value on these items for a little while.

It's the only PUP set that looks marginally okay.

At least elvaan and galka don't look like child molesters in AF3.

Prices may have gone down considerably but you can still make good money off the current AF/AF2 upgrade items, especially if you can turn them into the final product yourself.

Hell, look at the price of the Skirmish stones even though we know there's a great chance at least some stuff will be outdated soon.
