5/5 Aurore was never okay at 99.

It was barely okay when it was released.

1) It's what Geomancers seem to have wanted anyhow.

2) The helmet I could deal with if the rest of the set matched it. But it doesn't. The set isn't consistent with itself, imo. It just looks terrible as an esemble.

I dunno. I haven't been able to play RUN a ton recently, haven't noticed this set in cutscenes (I don't have Epeolatry, haven't seen it elsewhere that I remember), and generally I just find the new set to be...hiddeous.

In a game with /lockstyle, does it matter if it looks "bad?"

Kinda. It'd be great if they stopped 1) constantly reusing old models and 2) new sets were worth looking at.

I mean, there are some amazing old models that never got used for any length of time, or the gear was never any good.

Hell, look no further that Fulad-zereh. Amazing-looking piece. Super-rare, was only good for a very, very short time.

A RUN set based on that piece would have been both thematic (mail and leather set vs. plate) and would have been beautiful.

Haters. Aurore pants are fantastic looks wise. And the doublet isn't too bad either.

I will say that I would appreciate certain pieces getting re-used. I'd really like to incorporate Tessera Saio into my lockstyle, but I doubt I'll ever get one... and I don't think they've ever re-used the model.

I agree. I was never lucky enough to get one -- I never got anything worthwhile from that *** dragon despite like (hyperbolically, speaking) billion runs -- but yeah. There are a lot of great models that were used as one-offs that never got touched again.

I think the Loki's Kaftan remains one of my all-time favorites, too.

The body/legs are good on females, especially mithras, such as you. The feet/hands were truly terrible though. Just like noct back in the day. Especially those feet.

But for what it's worth, I was actually talking about use. 5/5 Aurore was never ideal unless you were terrible.

Yet it looks great and is so rare/never really useful for any length of time that it essentially went to waste, like the tessera saio and other similar pieces of gear.

But "pink" is too homosexual. 9_9
(Gurls, you need to learn that RUN is the most homosexual job in the game. If only just for the tiaras and hooker boots.)

Wow, just wow. So Pink is homosexual? You like sticking us Gay Men with what society negatively stereotypes us for being huh? First of all, not all of us like pink, some of us do, and you know what? Who cares? It's not a bad color. Alot of people like to wear pink. A lot of people portray us all as being feminine, when a lot of us are very masculine. I'm sick of people like you stereotyping us like that.

Sorry for the derail folks. Carry on.

Well, the staff I think got re-used in WKR/Delve at least?

Maybe we'll see more going forward.

Also, speaking of WKR, it would be great if they could make ranger more than a one-trick-pony with Coronach. There are so many awesome bows that just get...wasted.

Maybe it was a poor choice of words on my part. My main thought was SE has lazy armor design rehashing the same boots body armor etc but with different colors.

You know they have talented artists and designers they just seem to half *** everything they do.

You did show an example of a bad stereotype though: getting outraged even where not necessary.

I often wear several items of pink. My son loves pink, its his favorite color.

Pink use to be a boys color and blue was for girls. It was until the World Wars that blue and pink got swapped. Here is an clipping from an article about Pink from NPR.

Before Gatsby, a 1918 trade catalog for children's clothing recommended blue for girls. The reasoning at the time was that it's a "much more delicate and dainty tone," Finamore says. Pink was recommended for boys "because it's a stronger and more passionate color, and because it's actually derived from red."

To our 21st century ears, all this men in pink stuff may sound a bit blushy. "It's so deeply entrenched in us and our culture," says Finamore. "We think of pink as such a girlish color, but it's really a post-World War II phenomenon."

Source:
http://www.npr.org/2014/04/01/297159948/girls-are-taught-to-think-pink-but-that-wasnt-always-so

Color isn't gender specific or gender neutral. Color is just color.

Technically pink isn't associated with homosexual, lavender is. Also lots of men wear fitted clothing in europe, and pink shirts. Stop associating pigments of electromagnetic radiation with sexual preference. Next we're gonna have people say salads/vegetables are a gay food.

I remember those dark days, when I was crawling my way through WoTG. I'd look up the next mission and read "Zone into South San d'oria (S) and touch the Lion Springs Tavern door for a painfully long cut scene" and know that I'd have to spend 30 minutes deciphering what he said during the 20 minute CS if I wanted to follow the story line.
