That's far less whimsical than I imagined. :(
I was even gonna make a joke like "Oh, don't get your tail pulled" but never mind. D:
In all seriousness though have fun lol XD

FFXI LGBT Community, who are you?
That's far less whimsical than I imagined. :(
I was even gonna make a joke like "Oh, don't get your tail pulled" but never mind. D: In all seriousness though have fun lol XD Cerberus.Sevvy said: » What the hell is a furry? People who adopt certain animal characteristics as part of their identity, sometimes even wearing a fur suit in emulation of said animal. :) Carbuncle.Asymptotic said: » Well, since I can't reactivate FFXI today and I don't have an exam tomorrow, I guess I'll go to a furry party. :< Carbuncle.Asymptotic said: » Nah, there won't be any fursuits. Just drunk furries. Cerberus.Sevvy said: » Edit: not to say I don't watch them anyway when they're on TV. :D lol Cerberus.Sevvy said: » On a side note, I will one day have my fursuit <.< hopefully, they're freaking expensive. Alexander.Carrelo said: » Hahahah those shows absolutely fail at portraying things outside the realm of mainstream culture. XD I absolutely haaate their episodes about "gamers" lol every last detail is an exaggerated stereotype. XD Happy weekend eve, everyone.
/cheers Drag queens and furries. Two things I will never fully understand.
I don't think anyone will.
Anyway, have a gay old time ffxiers! Asura.Shayka said: » I don't think I saw that episode, how badly did they exaggerate the gamer stereotype? <.< And the story was centered around this like... gaming tournament thing that took place in a stadium. The "gamers" were these stereotypically geeky dudes with exaggeratedly arrogant attitudes and (for some weird reason) really hot girlfriends who were supposedly attracted to fame. (lol famous gamers) I run into a lot of LGBT on FFXI. More often than IRL and in other online games. I'm kinda curious to see what the statistics would be for FFXI.
To be honest, LGBT people make up a pretty large proportion of online gamers in general.
Have a source for that? I wouldn't be surprised if it's just that more LGBT persons are open online than irl, and it's much easier and faster to sift through the idk, 5k? people on one server than to sift through 5k people irl.

Does that mean that the LGBT community is full of sad, lonely people like me who spend their Friday nights cooped up in their dark bedrooms playing FFXI?

Josi's a guy because typically girls type way better than guys.
I'm an exception because I'm nitpick-y about how I type. >__> |
