I think I would go with Mog Bonanza Kupon A and pick up a Ninurta's Sash. Depending on your server you could potentially sell it for more money then you'll win with rank 1, and even at that you could use it until it sells.

Not worth the hassle tbh. Unless you're really lucky, high price items take forrrrrever to sell and its use over vbelt isn't even that much of an improvement (now if they swapped the 6 attack for 6 acc, that'd be another story)

Worth it? No, not at all. Maybe fun but all you end up out of it is a title, there are no rewards.

rank 1: coupon A thingyjig for a belt. To wear, not so much to sell.
rank 2: Velocious belt (and if I happened to win both ranks 1 and 2, I'd get the belt for only one and the gil for the other) or gil, or herald's gaiters (to sell)
rank 3: Gil, or maybe an imperial wootz ingot. I'll need 12 of those for salvage gear eventually. Or, since my limbus ls fell apart when I was next in line for homam pants, maybe I'll be a loser and get homam pants if I win rank 3.
rank 4: Khroma ore or another money item to sell, would have to check what all the prizes are selling for.

yeah but its their way of pumping money back into the economy especially when they ban gil selling accounts that had millions of gil on that account.

Unfortunally, the opposite is true in this case.

They are not creating "wealth" in a sense, because the gil prizes are divided equally among the ranks:

Rank 1 = 50% of the gil "earned" divided among the rank 1 winners.
Rank 2 = 20% of the gil "earned" divided among the rank 2 winners.
Rank 3 = 30% of the gil "earned" divided among the rank 3 winners.

If a Rank 1 winner gets something besides gil, the gil winnings go away, and become deleted. No matter what the value of the item is, the gil gets deleted, and taken out of circulation.

Same goes for Rank 2 and Rank 3 winners.

As for Rank 4 winners, all that does is create a more supply for the items than demand, and basic economics will show a decrease for the prices on the items collected from the items (hence the 200k K.Ores that are about to happen after tomorrow).

The lottery is SE's way of getting rid of extra gil and to help stabilize the game economy.

Ok well the person that wins the rank 1 and chooses the cash prize is def. putting money bk in the game economy. if theres 70-something winners like in the past, chances are theres 2-3 ppl on each server winning rank 1. IF they take cash prize thats an extra 80+mill out of nowhere. I suppose if you where smart you would just take the n-sash and sell it. :)

SE isn't introducing new gil, in fact about 50% of the gil that is going into this lottery is being redistributed for Rank 1. The other 50% is between Rank 2 and 3. Read the gil rewards section in the Mog Bonanza announcement.
