Well I've never heard of a keylogger on a PS2 or an Xbox O_o. Maybe it's just my false sense of security.
Could be he logged in to the community site with a keylogger on his computer.
OR.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Packet_analyzer (though i haven't heard of hacking ffxi accounts being done that way, seems a bit excessive). Don't know how well it would work, but its entirely possible...

Just got the account locked for him, he called me with his new password and he's only been on Rag for 20 minutes, all gone. everything.
Damn... Well, if he hasn't had it rolled back before now, he should be fine.
They move it all to another character just in case you are quick to lock out the account.

Yeah he just got off the phone with me and started his roll-back. Only downside is in the past 48 hours he did ACP1 to final fight so more than likely he'll be rolled back before all that work.

It's falls under the same category as people in Hurricane Katrina. Sure I feel bad you lost your house, I couldn't fathom what that feeling is like, but you knew that ***was coming for like 2 weeks. You can't be surprised by a hurricane, and you can't be surprised these RMT got your acct.

Also out of curiosity you mentioned taking preemptive measures to make sure you're at the least risk of being hacked, what are the ones you take? INB4 Security Token and my anti-virus software is better than yours ect ect ect ect.
