Seriously this ***is getting a little out of control. It was annoying before, but now that the spam filter is in place its like you have to use a decoder ring.

I've done this on several of the sites. I've just written like a bunch of stuff and dropped it on them after they said hello. Normally they just leave afterward XD.
Closing free accounts won't really do nothing plus would put people at a disadvantage. After all free accounts is what allows people to try out the game. And if they disable tells for players then how they going to whisper to people and learn of the game?
I hate RMTs. I wish they would just..get a clue and stop ruining play for people.
They could try using a tell instead of whisper since this is FFXI. Honestly, FF isn't that expensive compared to what you're getting so stopping the trial accounts isn't a huge deal.

I get at least 10 of these every time I log on from the various companies,nothing like Vegetto got though thankfully!

If you blacklisted every RMT tell you got, do you realize how fast your blacklist would fill up? I personally keep my coveted open spaces on my blacklist for people like you, not some Chinese dumbass who broke their scripts.

That wouldn't work, cause if we have a shared blacklist, Vince wouldn't be able to get anyone to help him.
I'd like a customizable spam filter, or maybe a way for players to submit /tell they get to SE and they add it to a universal spam filter update.
The latter would open up more ways for the RMTs to find out the new filters and get around them though.

a "Special" black list for spam that SE would update according to us and look though it but it would let us add names for them to look at fast.. maybe only allow people with like 100 days + summit to it or something and if they add to much BS the would be taken of allowed to add to the list
