Anyways, enough loldrama. A GM that would let RMT spam like that for so long are obviously not doing their job. It should have been fixed long before it got to the V's, much less been able to spam his entire /tell log full like that. I get maybe one or two per entire day I spend logged in. I guess I just get lucky having a name near the end of the alphabet.

Ban the trial accounts. Permanently.

It might help if somebody actually, you know, reported it when it first happened.

And if it happened in the span of 5 minutes, there is nothing a GM can do in that amount of time.

Again, Vegetto is just posting this thread to show how much of an attention *** he is, since any logical person would have blacklisted the bot on the second /t.

But seriously, GMs are not mind-readers. In order to be able to stop any RMT tells when it first happens, they would have to do 2 things:

1. Read EVERY SINGLE /t in the system AS IT HAPPENS (invasion of privacy anyone?).
2. Have more people just to do this, since I'm pretty sure that there are more /ts per second than there are GMs in the game.

Both of which is unethical and unrealizable.

Report it the first time, blacklist it the second time, problem solved, no more useless threads like this.

I agree the trial accounts aren't really necessary anyways, could just do away with them and solve the whole problem. If irc, when I first started playing you got the first month free as a trial. Had to input cc info and whatnot, but it sortakinda served as a trial account and there were no rmt /tells. I miss those days. :(

I wonder if they would be able to put a system in place that either banned/suspended/disabled /tells for any account that sends the same message over and over again. I highly doubt the RMT mix up their messages too often...
