Yes it doesnt provide access to much but I've known several people who are interested in checking out XI but the extremely limited 14 days provided very little time to get acquainted with the game at all. One of XI's biggest hurdles for newcomers is learning the ins and outs of the controls, menus, the general structure of questing, etc. Getting accustomed to XI is a slow and time-consuming process for a lot of folk. Giving unlimited time for that is a good thing.
