Think I'm done with trying to max out runs with the drop rate being what it is.
One or two a week and hope to get lucky. Which means a year to cap one item.
Are these ultimate weapons or accessories? Why so much grind.

Gotta pad the content til the next update drop. Can only hope they dont add more equipment into the same augment grind pool to keep it going for longer.
For example; mythical +5 upgrade now needs to be augmented the same way. Be in limbus for actual years

Across 3 characters, 6 non 100% drop chests per char last week (Obviously not counting the first 100% drop chest in each zone)

Asura, so max NMs killed most likely as there seems to be a set amount that can spawn per day thus per week and on asura they seem to always be dead.

Judging from the numbers reported here I'd dare to say the difference between a Server who killed 44 NMs and a Server who killed just a few is... quite noticeable.
It's currently benefitting me (being myself on Asura) so it might sound stupid of me to say it, but I think this is not really fair or balanced for the game.
We do need incentives to kill the NMs, making so the incentive is "just" this and the difference is this big... I dunno, it feels wrong.
They should raise the base drop rate, leave the current incentive system, and add some more incentive, imho.

What are you talking about. 95% of the numbers dropped in this thread are from first week when all servers had the same drop rate.

We're currently on our third week, aren't we?
Granted that the patch arrived midweek so I'm pretty confident on Asura 44 NMs were not killed on the first "week", but certainly more than the majority of other servers did!
I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of server got no kills at all on that first week, meaning no boost for the second week, which just ended yesterday.

I play late night and didn't see a single NM the first week they were always killed before I did my runs, second week though saw a few mostly more annoying jobs, and continuing to see some this week, there's a reason I did as many runs as I could this last week, we will probably never have as good of a drop rate again unless things change.

I'm going out on a limb here and claim that this is clearly not the final use destination for units, the way it's setup appears to me as a "you can use leftover points here" system. Hopefully the next step in the update will not come too far in the future.

I was 0/4 and 1/3 on Bahamut where I'm pretty sure people killed probably as many as on Asura. I don't see any significant difference between any server in week 2.

It looks like a 25% "Very Common" drop rate, from everyone's reports.
I collated everyone's data from this thread and the Limbus 2025 thread for drop rates across both weeks and both Temenos/Apollyon and got:
40/129=0.31 or 31%
It might be 30%, or it might be a slightly inflated VC 25% drop rate which I think is more likely.
That or perhaps the 25% rate is a base with NM kills adding more on top.
More data might give the answer.
Either way, roughly 1/4 is about what you can expect.

The drop is from the chest, and rewards don't change no matter the CL.
It doesn't matter if you do i119 or i135, same chance at drops.

The current theory I support is number of nms killed
If someone can prove that a nm of job killed in zone
Has not repopped in the same zone before the Sunday reset this would imply that there is a finite limit to the spawns
And therefore a cap to increased drops per zone

Didn't the zones get reset, and potentially the NM bonus, when they fixed the bst bug week1? on top of week1 not being an actual full week before reset?
There is a possibility that we weren't seeing fully enhanced drops week2. Though this current weeks (week3) chests should be max NM enhanced on some servers.
