September 2025 Version Update
Everything resets when a zone is taken offline or server maintenance occurs. Back in the 75 era people would run to dragon's aery right before a maintenance because Fafhogg was guaranteed to spawn in its 3 hour window right after the servers came back up, even if it was killed an hour or two before maintenance began. Since the NMs are randomized when they spawn it's only logical a new set would reappear after the update.

Yesterday came across Vitiation (RDM) in Temenos.
Just from that and your collection alone it seems very safe to assume all the names/jobs are easy to predict.

it's not a mystery; there's a version for all artifact and relic reforged names. both wakido and sakonji have been found, both geomancy and bagua (and their luopans), yadda yadda.

Hey, I've got a dumb question unrelated to limbus but maybe related to the update: are any monthly campaigns active at the moment? Hopped into Abyssea - Grauberg and found my lights were set as if a lights campaign were running, and can't think of any other reason that might be the case.

There are a lot of charmable mobs in Apollyon. Would love to see a BST army take the NMs down.
I've not really had any trouble tanking any of the ones I've fought so far on Ninja, except the BST cause it just kept charming me. Lots of things didn't even wipe utsusemi. (Blue Magic, Shockwave, Spinning attack, etc.) Migawari is great too.

Is this where they might add the new Archduke items? Or another event? I don't ever recall them retro-actively adding non-cosmetic (ilvl) gear to HTBFs as time-exclusive event rewards, so I am a little doubtful it will actually come from here. Any other takeaways from that announcement that I missed that explicitly indicated the new drops come from the HTBF? (Maybe I misread, coffee, friday, have a good weekend etc)

I don't like the idea of potentially useful gear being gated behind a periodic(yearly?) event, personally. Neither piece looks amazing but it's still a bad design choice IMO.

The sword and shield are barely better than cosmetic
It's not a big deal, nor odd that they'd just throw them in the existing battle.
Do you want them, of course. Longer enspell and auto-refresh + meva, of course.
Are they so good that it's hard to believe you don't have to suck a mile of *** to get them, no.

They're run it before and it was only the cosmetic lvl1 version. I just found it odd they released ilvl gear with a seasonal event, since I cant recall any other time they did something like this, besides the anniversary with bonananza weapons?
Please note that there will be no changes to the spoils you can earn from the battlefield on these three occasions.

That same PlayOnline post has an "About the Spoils" section that specifically names the 2 cosmetics Kam'lanaut's Sword, Kam'lanaut's Shield, and the sheet of tunes.
That's it.
The new stuff might be related to the event, but SE isn't sending us secret hints about it.

Right, I noticed that too. I agree with you and Thorny about where it probably comes from, but from what I gather from the post, it doesn't explicitly say Archduke weapons are from there, so we will have to wait and see. Was just curious if maybe I was misinterpreting the notes.

Note: He used Luminohelix 2 a lot (which was AoE as others have mentioned) possibly due to double light weather in Temenos. It'd be interesting to see if he uses Noctohelix in Apollyon. Stymie Silence lasted long enough for us to kill him.
