RIP Hulk Hogan
Dang I feel like my childhood is dying this week.
Asura.Sensarity said: » comment deleted hope you get the help you need I was just talking to my co-worker about this and it's very wild how differently we remember Hogan. I'm 42 and he's 32.
I remember "Say your prayers and take your vitamins" Hulkamania. He remembers Hollywood Hogan. I feel bad for him. **Responding to Nif below me. I meant WCW Hollywood Hogan when he turned heel, not Hogan performing in Hollywood. Drayco said: » He remembers Hollywood Hogan. I feel bad for him. bad! what he was amazing in 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain, idk why that is the role i remember in the most but 3 ninjas was the best. the one thing my father instilled in me, a love of 90s martial arts movies. edit: was looking at his IMDB and 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain has a 3/10 score WTF some evil people must have review bombed it because it is an amazing movie and Victor Wong's final role He apparently busted a wrestler’s union by going to Vince for cash so that it could be broken before it got formed. What a piece of ***.
I remember this gem haha
Sucks, but he turned out to be a piece of ***so I don't feel the hurt. Hope his family can move past their loss quickly.

There was a really simple rule I was taught growing up: You don't want to be treated like a little ***, then don't act like a little ***. Asura.Sensarity said: » post deleted That's a wild take coming from someone with a name like Sensarity, which honestly sounds like it should be all about empathy I feel like we are all equal in death, dancing on someone's grave is petty. Did the guy go down hill, sure. Did he spout a lot about politics because he used to have some what of a platform, sure. But I don't personally care, and I don't think you should care either. A fading star gripping the last light of showbusiness. While not the greatest character I enjoyed him and the other macho man guys personas And I am not even a fan of wrestling I loved those 3 ninjas movies and the subsequent copy cats like surf ninjas Hell yeah brother An entertainer entertains. ruckusMonster said: » Bismarck.Nickeny said: » Asura.Sensarity said: » post deleted This is the entire Trump platform. Damn, Your first post outside talking about ffxi and you sound like a total nut job I'll take that as a compliment from somebody like you. Anyways, hope the Hulkster has a black roomate in purgatory. Maybe evertime he's about to get out he can have a big booming voice "That's not going to work for me, brother." Imagine making politics part of your personality
The Hulk taught me to oxygenate my blood by taking deep breaths through the nose and use the diaphragm, solid advice still used today.
RIP. I guess I should not be surprised when people who go around wishing other people would die behave this way, just kinda sad to actually see it.
Hulk is dead, he cant hurt you anymore, move on and let people who he made a positive impact on reminisce. How odd for a post memorializing a polarizing public figure to generate a predictably divided response.
I work in wrestling, so this has been a busy day. Putting Terry Bollea to one side, professional wrestling would be nowhere near as big as it is now without him and Vince McMahon taking it mainstream in the 80s and 90s.
Before that, it was a niche form of entertainment broken up in to territories across the United States. Hogan made it global. That's his legacy. Whatever he thought and said as himself, and not the Hogan character, is completely separate in my view. I'll remember the positives over the negatives later in his life. Ran into him at a few restaurants too.
If they lived a bit closer I bet his son & I would have hung out a lot. I didn't talk to him much but he was always a real chill guy and seemed like a nice dad. Politics? who gives a ***. RIP He was a massive scumbag, good riddance. *** racists and *** scabs.
Hey guys, even Hitler loved his dog! Let's just remember all the good times ok (Re: Hulk, not the other guy)

At what level does it become okay to be glad a ***person is not around anymore? Also everyone going "Wow stop thinking politics" are conveniently ignoring that he was also racist as hell. And yes, there is video proof of him being racist as hell. |
