When you pull a mob the pending skillchain is removed, because everything is removed as it assigns a level to the mob based on what you set. Pull a mob with sleep, note it wont sleep even if it lands. Pull a mob with Gravity, note it will still run at you even if it lands. Pull a mob with dia, note you can sleep it after as theres no DoT on it.
The above only applies if you didnt aggro it first. I did Temenos. I was on dd job ilvl 130, i got the 5k from chest and 5270 from the total. My geo mule got 3k from chest.
Finally saw a 3K ??? near the approach to the exit of NE3 ion apolly. Was 3 boxing. The char I played grabbed it and it vanished. no other pts and it vanished. wandered off to finish my kills. saw another ??? when I came back, possibly same location. other 2 got the 3K this time. "nothing out of ordinary" for the char that already had the bonus last time.
On Cerberus there is a 3k ??? on floor 2 of NW. I wonder if these move around daily/weekly. Easy units if you can find them.

If you open a skillchain immediately upon claiming (like Immanence on SCH), it won't close properly, because the mob assigns a new level after the first action and negates it. Either claiming or aggroing before starting the skillchain avoids this. My own numbers to *** if its worth just killing fodder and skipping the chest:
I parked my chars (6, lvl 130) at one of the rooms where theres 10 mobs available. I'm doing roughly 7 kills every 90 sec, which would be about 3400 temenos units per hour. I didnt time my climb speed, but presuming just killing whats necessary for temp item and porting up, a temenos climb (again, 6 chars, lv130) would be worth 7930 units ((170*7*3)+(340*4)+3000) minimum. Presuming 4 minutes per NEW floor and 8 min per C floor, thats (7*4*3)+(8*4) = 116 minutes, lets just say two hours. 3400 units per hour just killing fodder vs 3965 units per hour doing the event properly. If SE wanted to motivate people to jump areas and get the chest, the box reward needs to be a bit higher. hmm interesting. the ??? is still in the same spot. I came back to NE3 nothing out of ordnary. went out to entrance and back in. still same. wonder if its daily or weekly maybe. Weird I didnt see it before though.

We also got a normal message when clicking orb to set monster level. 4 who did not beat old school got a red message when initially talking to the orb. We wondered what that was about and my guess was it had something to do with the 3k and 5k points. As expected at the end exactly that happened.

My geo mule got this same message but my whm mule had done limbus all levels and still got 3k.

Btw not all targets sleep.
Yesterday I went in with both Sheep Song and Dream Flower to have Light and Dark based options. A few things refused to sleep, like the turtles in Apollyon SE but I seem to recall there was at least another target. Talking about them at 119 so I doubt it was a macc issue. Shadow Dragons do have access to their typical Nullsong thing, removing all buffs at once. For temenos We did a 130 and a 119 run. found 1 ? and it was on the 119 run. for a party of 6 not optimized at the 119 took us 51 min to clear all 4 towers. Next time were bringing a geo instead, gunna try and see if the 122 is still worth the speed. but yeah. One big difference, and I don't know what lvl this changes at. On floor 130 the regular pixies were true sight, and used their full dispell 90% of the time. On level 119 Pixies were not true sight, and didn't use full dispell once. So mobs start gaining access to new moves, and the pixies were the only ones we found that changed agro method.

dumb easy but also incredibly boring. hopefully the NMs they add are roaming/quick respawns as that would make it so much more chaotic and fun, as opposed to boring pop item ??? Are you sure about the true sight thing? Your level setting shouldn't be able able to affect detection behavior, since their level wouldn't be locked in until after they aggro... One thing I thought was interesting about the original was that each area was different is some way. Aside from the monsters being different you just do the same thing in every zone. They could have taken some elements from other things like omen or sortie objectives. Randomized objectives each floor for bonus units would have at least been something to do besides zerging every enemy.
Opened x2 Temenos chests and received Delineated Grace on 2nd chest.
Acc/Racc/Macc +4 (revealed by Sphere NPC) It's a persistent buff while in Temenos, similar to Vorseals. Haven't checked Apollyon yet to see if the buff applies there as well (KI description does not allude to being specific to Temenos, it states "A support effect received in Limbus. I got 5k on character who haven't beaten Limbus and 3k on character that have done it, so beating limbus before is irrelevant. Also I wouldn't be surprised if +5 require like 80k points and you need to bring total capacity to that level to be able to hold that many points at once. @ Simon Ses: The reduction in points by half appears just as long as u hold the floors temp-item. No further reductions.

This content feels pretty bad tbh. -50% damage is one thing, but nerfing skillchains this hard on top of it just doesn't feel fun to play and make this a real chore to do solo. It also punishes you for teaming up by having to kill more targets per floor.
