Limbus 2025
Can you set level to 135 now instead of 130 previously? How many points per full clear (excluding 3k) from each zone at 135 vs 130? Not playing atm so can't check.
Dodik said: » At CL 135, an Apollyon NW (5 floors) floor objective gives 308 points. Oh wow, almost double the amount. Asura.Reidden said: » Oh wow, almost double the amount. Double compared to 130 or to 119? Iirc 130 gave 170 units per floor and what Dodik said I also confirmed last night for 135
Did a repeat objective on Apollyon NW, got 154 points. First clear is 308.
Apollyon SW (4 floors) gives 396 per floor. First repeat objective gave 198. In Apollyon if you do all floors at 135: 3,080 for the two 5Floor towers. 3,168 for the two 4Floor towers. 6,248 from floor objectives alone. ~30% increase from CL130. Apollyon gave 4,828 from floor objectives at CL 130. Guessing some moaning in the JP forums about how grindy it is got the points increase bumped up. Edit - Got number of floors wrong. Very nice analysis here Dodik. Very helpful
well if the time to get those points increases, it can easily take longer to get those points from higher lvl mobs, so if this is their response to this way too poorly designed, grindy at best case 8 hour a week, avg person case 14hrs a week content, that's not really solving the issues. The points need to be doubled, without the speed to acquire them increasing. Then limbus won't be a trash heap.
Unless the difference between 130 and 135 is a massive increase in kill speed, it wont affect the time to complete a cycle by any significant amount wrt units gains.
I did a temenos at 119 and a temenos at 130, it saved me 5 minutes. Majority of the time is spent running around and dealing with portals. I did neuter by units gains by a significant amount at 119 though. You can upgrade several pieces per job by going once a week. Relax.
Don't have to grind anything out. The mobs hit pretty hard at 135, die just as fast though. 119 takes me 40min to solo run, 130 takes me over an hour, 1 shotting every 119 mob and 2-3 shotting 130's, in temenos. the running distance is so short. I generally don't go on the "best job" since the only thing u get is ep and points and not even beastmen/kindred crest/seals. So I go on the job I need e if doing high lvl, or I go on the job that will kill the fastest/smoothest and do 119. if I do 5 runs of that, it's almost 2 extra hours for, a few extra points, or I can just all 119, and then go back and farm on a different job, and get more points in the same amount of time.

But hes right. My timings were with a party of 6, not solo with trusts. Also you are admittedly not using your strongest job. Are you a single box character or multibox? Because the time difference in 119 and 130 as a single player is massive - like 5min a floor and you can pull all of them and never risk death. Can't do that on 130 as a single player in that amount of time without a risk of death or crowd control If only there were a way to not do it solo. Maybe they'll come up with an answer for that.
Seems easy, just let people make parties instead of soloing, it's wild concept but it could work. +30% is nice, if it is +60% of the 130 level at ilvl 140. I feel like the end chest should scale too though. 5k at 135, 7k at 140.

CL130 isnt for soloers ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ On day 1 I 2boxed Apollyon 130 on MNK BRD, it sucked. I did Temenos on SAM BRD, also sucked. Like 2h each but it was new content so was working it out at the same time.

CL130 isnt for soloers ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ You do sheol solo, you get less segs You do sortie solo, you get less muffins Its a *** MMO lol, its gonna be beneficial to party up. They even made it so you can go in an alliance, but you get penalized by needing more kills per floor, but the reward is the same based on CL. Haven't tried since limbus came out but what was the penalty looking like for 7+ vs alliance
No penalty for a 6 person party correct? I can use my friends accounts to confirm if no one else does before me, but i think it was as simple as ceiling((kills required/6)*[ally size])
So temenos NEW with 4 kills per floor should become 5 in a pt of 7, 6 in a pt of 8-9, etc. it might not be 100% accurate because theres some scoring system on the back end. Temenos NEW = 7 floors, 4 mobs per clear = 28 Temenos C = 4 floors, 7 mobs per clear = 28 Apollyon Sx = 4 floors, 7 mobs per kill = 28 Apollyon Nx = 5 floors, 6 mobs per kill = 30 Screencap your bars after every kill and youll note they dont fill at a fixed percentage. Id be curious to see if we can get the kill counts defined for the wiki
Because I can see a lot of oh we are 6/6 When 1 or 2 outside of the main party might be very different than full 18 or 12 Almost like they made broad general content to cover a broad demographic of players. Everyone is different. I work from home at my desk and do 130 (135) in between calls, it's actually decent exemplar points too. When I don't feel like fighting harder mobs or am short on time, i switch to 119. There's multiple ways to play. They even allow you to use trusts in the zone, which is clearly for solo players. If you can handle 130/135, do it? Oh yeah, there's not always an active shout going on for limbus farm or someone can't always commit to it an hour farm, so soloing is still an option.
I get that yall are all running 6x characters to everything, so it's difficult to know the perspective of anything but a party of 6 with max buffers, but there's multiple ways to play the game, regardless of whether its an MMO or not. You guys are always so out of touch with basic concepts, its always max everything all the time Yes
The lower CL is for soloers and less geared parties who need the easier targets The higher CL is for groups of people who can dispatch the higher level targets in a timely manner Anything in between is just the scale. The floor reward is assigned accordingly. Atleast the final chest isnt also tied to CL. Maybe its because I have access to multibox, but I dont aee any issue with this system. Again, its a MMO, the second M standing for “multiplayer”. Where was this noise about how seg farming solo or muffin farming solo sucks?? Where was this noise about how seg farming solo or muffin farming solo sucks?? I didn't say anything was wrong with this system. Before you said you were multiboxing, you stated how there was virtually no difference in clear time between 119 and 130. I was clarifying that perspective was definitely from a party of 6, or a multiboxer. The benefit of 130/135 as a solo player is it gives you increased exemplar points and units, but its a timesink, so its your choice to invest time for more of those points, or disregard that for sake of the box reward. I think the system is designed to properly reward both groups of players. I wasn't taking anything Eiryl said about partying seriously, since he still struggles with Sheol floor 1 with Kupipi getting one shot.
